No I'm not.

I couldn't care less what emotive flannel is flung about.

IT. IS.NOT.ACCEPTABLE.

The end.

OP posts:
TuftyFinch · 21/09/2012 18:37

I think this would be acceptable if the woman were a dog, cat or rabbit. And only just about acceptable. Not by a long shot or anything. Just about.

Pagwatch · 21/09/2012 18:38

I have a nice new thread. I am Moving On.

atacareercrossroads · 21/09/2012 18:40

Hully that was an unfortunate cross post I was talking generally.

Saying context is important is not the same as saying everything is subject to context.

Eg. You hear somone saying nog nog.

What you didn't hear was the latter part which was "....is totally racist"

Hullygully · 21/09/2012 18:40

tifty! you coming ot the meet-up?

OP posts:

Fuckkkkkkkkkk.

TuftyFinch · 21/09/2012 18:48

There are various reasons:

  1. there's a good jumble sale on satyday.

am i not too late? if i'm not too late i would have to remain relatively sober and leave relatively early in order to get back. is it acceptable to come for say, 2 hours?

gordyslovesheep · 21/09/2012 18:49

atacareercrossroads · 21/09/2012 18:49

SuePurblybilt · 21/09/2012 18:52

I wouldn't miss a jumble sale
Not that I'm invited.

TuftyFinch · 21/09/2012 18:57

Sue. I cordially invite you to the meet up.
Generous to a fault I am.

TiggyD · 21/09/2012 18:59

Unfortunately, there are many many women who, if they were described as girls, would be really happy and giggle like a nun in a hammock.

Hullygully · 21/09/2012 19:01

Tiggy

we have finsihed with this now.

Now we are smoking and drinking and dreaming of

OP posts:
Hullygully · 21/09/2012 19:01

I want EVERYONE to come to the meet-up

even those with mananas

OP posts:
IvorHughJanus · 21/09/2012 19:03

I am smoking (well, in a minute), drinking and dreaming of nuns in hammocks. All nuns look like Julie Andrews in my head.

Hullygully · 21/09/2012 19:04

I am dreamoing of hitting the road in three and a half years and not coming back.

OP posts:
TiggyD · 21/09/2012 19:10

I'm only posting because I'm trying really hard to start the phrase "Giggling like a nun in a hammock" and saw a slight chance to use it. It's the third time I've used it and will keep using it until it's spread.

Hullygully · 21/09/2012 19:11

oh. Well fair play then.

OP posts:
TuftyFinch · 21/09/2012 19:15

Tiggy, I'm a nun and I find your phrase to be in bad taste. I do not giggle. Ever.

PorkyandBess · 21/09/2012 19:15

I know it's a bit late and you've all gone off topic.

But I completely agree with Hully.
