Watching now. Teenagers being arrested. Parents seem to think that's fine and part of growing up. I cannot believe people like that exist...

Well we will tell the women on relationships to not get std checked then if they are EXTREMELY clean

No. Because sex with a stranger = increased chance of catching something.

There was one joke on this thread and countless other condemning crying rape and for people to focus only on the cracking joke and not address any other points, and people denying a false rape claim can affect other women is a bit, well, daft

Aboutlastnight · 18/09/2012 13:00

Cbeebies ...

Those poor boys, grabbed by this predatory junkie alcoholic, forced to accept blowjobs and intercourse under a pier on a beach. Those poor lambs Sad

cbeebiesinducedcoma · 18/09/2012 13:01

well I thought that too wannabedomesticgoddess but I think on MN only teenage girls can be SA this 'don't mock a woman crap' has gone too far.

Plus I actually thought the policeman was very rude to the man about jeremy kyle was unnecessary and rude.

BupcakesandCunting · 18/09/2012 13:01

She's probably well-known around the area as the go-to woman for a cheapola blowie/hand-job. Those boys knew where to look.

GoldShip · 18/09/2012 13:01

Eats - on a regular basis. Doing it once doesn't make someone a prostitute.

Kayano · 18/09/2012 13:02

Why can't we all agree that they both behaved like disgusting people and move on.

Kayano · 18/09/2012 13:02

Tbf she did have history

GoldShip · 18/09/2012 13:02

aboutlast you've just proven her point. We'd be screaming abuse if it were girls instead of boys.

cbeebiesinducedcoma · 18/09/2012 13:03

Like I said we are talking about minors here...

this 'poor prostitute' isn't really the issue here.

BupcakesandCunting · 18/09/2012 13:05

TBF, the boy that got collared by the police was 17. We don't know the age of the others because they scarpered.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 18/09/2012 13:09

If my teenage son (I dont have one) was in that situation I would feel that I had failed as a parent. He would be punished for having that attitude towards women.

BUT, I would also feel that he had been abused. It is inappropriate on both their parts. But when it comes down to it, she is the adult. Vulnerable or not.

Aboutlastnight · 18/09/2012 13:19

Are you seriously saying that these boys were coerced/forced into sexual acts with this woman? That she was taking advantage of them?

really?

Aboutlastnight · 18/09/2012 13:21

And I fon't think 15 year old girls go around paying a fiver for sex with toothless middle aged alcoholics. Hmm

GoldShip · 18/09/2012 13:22

about no. I'm not. But still if it were a girl it'd be all about abuse.

lotsofteddies · 18/09/2012 13:24

Oh yes the Jeremy Kyle joke too, very cringeworthy. Very unprofessional.

Kayano · 18/09/2012 13:24

Errrr he was 17 so that chain of thought is irrelevant

16 is the age of consent

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 18/09/2012 13:26

"So feel free to take your oar out. "

Err ... it's a public forum, so no, I'll post wherever I like.

And I was making the point that living near some people does not necessarily give you great insight into their motivations. I used to live on a pretty grim council estate. I could come to all sorts of conclusions about why the people who lived there behaved as they did. But I didn't do that because I didn't really know them, I just happened to live amongst them.

Kayano · 18/09/2012 13:27

Lotsofteddies

He said that in reply to the guy telling him how to do his job
He asked what he did (surprise - nothing) and said he doesn't go round telling him how to do his job (ie none) she he should not be sticking his oar in

Which was fair enough as it was a false rape claim anyway! He was telling the policeman to take DNA samples Hmm

He could have said I don't tell you how to pimp this lady (because I have no doubt they would have shared a drink or something) for all I cared

He didn't need to be speaking in the first place

BupcakesandCunting · 18/09/2012 13:28

Post wherever you like sure, but don't address me if you're unclear on what I've said.

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/09/2012 13:29

The 17 year old is legally able to consent to sex. It was not abuse and would not have been abuse if it was a 17 year old woman.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 18/09/2012 13:29

I was quite clear about what you said.

GoldShip · 18/09/2012 13:31

Eatbrains - if it had been a man and a girl, you'd have not defended them would you. Youd have let it pass.

You probably would have defended to poor young girl having to have sex with men for money...

nannyl · 18/09/2012 13:31

what was the programme called and when was it on, please?

im trying and failing to find it on catch up!

wannabedomesticgoddess · 18/09/2012 13:32

So her actions arent morally questionable because the age of consent is 16. Ok then Hmm

Anyway, aside from that, not sure why everyone is getting so personal on this thread. A debate is a debate. Why turn it into a personal slangling match?

BupcakesandCunting · 18/09/2012 13:32

You obviously weren't.
