... you know, like Facebook has! Grin

OP posts:

I've just done it on a thread. And I'm going to carry on doing it. So yah boo sucks.

You lot ARE the exclusive queen-bee clique, who won't deign to acknowledge dorks like me unless we dive in with something devastatingly witty! What's wrong with just making an agreeable noise, if I agree?

Hrrmph.

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 14/09/2012 18:38

Go away dork.

MardyBra · 14/09/2012 18:39

Another vote against a like button.

Although there should be an "I agree with Hecate button". Where is she btw?

garlicnutty · 14/09/2012 18:41

You're just a silly beardy, Daddyman.

Mardy, did you actually go and find out where I'd posted "Like"? Shock
Or is it just that everyone always agrees with Hecate? Grin

MNhoneydragonHQ · 14/09/2012 18:43

Don't Call Me Cliquey Angry

MardyBra · 14/09/2012 18:46

Nah. Haven't read the thread garlic. Is it worth it?

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 14/09/2012 18:52

I have to admit to being cliquey. I'm in two! But I do make noobs feel welcome and even tried to integrate a troll into the sweary thread yesterday! Shame they got banned, they had an interesting rap styling...

Maryz you know you're always welcome on the sweary thread. We're on number 5 now Grin

GetOrfAKAMrsUsainBolt · 14/09/2012 19:59

I love the word dork.

caramelsmadfuzzytail · 14/09/2012 20:01

On another forum I go on they have introduced a like button, it works on there because there are usually a lot of cute furry aminals. BUT they also have a reputation thingy, which I think is FAAAAAR worse.

Sometimes if you don't post enough on Mumsnet, your two penn'orth can get lost in the general chat, so people with fluffy dispositions can be hurt.

garlicnutty · 14/09/2012 20:13

I would answer you, Mardy, but am too busy running away from Honeydragon and Beardy. Fast Grin

AgamaLiz · 14/09/2012 21:44

"Like"

germyrabbit · 14/09/2012 21:45

yeah go for it mn

SilveryMoon · 14/09/2012 21:48

I'd like to see a 'like' button.
Could just be in the top corner of the post,"this post has 32 likes" or whatever, not an actual post that states 'like', no need to waste pages.
I read threads and posts etc but don't often have much to say but would like to click like.

scottishmummy · 14/09/2012 21:49

if mn introduce like
they need a cunt button too
for balance and all that

germyrabbit · 14/09/2012 21:50

just a nice red and green button like the daily mail would suffice

garlicnutty · 14/09/2012 22:29

.. and a plug-in for SM, so her red button says 'cunt'

scottishmummy · 14/09/2012 22:35

ach shucks
I'd hate to have a likey following
I'd def rather be wi the mad cunts

germyrabbit · 14/09/2012 22:36

can we also have an 'i didn't understand that' button

LadyBeagleEyes · 14/09/2012 22:36

Ooh yes, if we have a like button we must have a cunt button too.
I agree with scottishmummy.

GetOrfAKAMrsUsainBolt · 14/09/2012 22:37

I would rather be a cunt as well.

OliviaLMumsnet · 14/09/2012 22:38

@scottishmummy

if mn introduce like they need a cunt button too for balance and all that

Love the Haiku Grin
