Supermarkets are less than polite. I find the staff in Sainsbury's are much better.

I have shopped weekly at Morissons since January as I love it there for the food, prices etc

Staff in my local Sainsbury are bloody rude. The ones at the Tesco are a lovely though and have even helped to carry my bags without asking, when my DS was in the middle of a massive tantrum.

We have an amazing psychic man at our local Morissons. All you do is stand looking a bit puzzled at your list and before you've even thought to yourself "where the hell is the bloody..." he is there in the blink of an eye like some kind of produce based superhero asking you what you're looking for, and he leads you straight to it!

Big up the Morissons is what I say.

When Morrisons took over the morden Safeway I tried to buy a leek. After searching the veg, I asked one of their staff - 'don't stock exotic vegetables' he said. Does anyone know if they stock the mysterious welsh national symbol yet?

Bit hit and miss with staff in Local morriscums. I have had to complain about so many of the staff as well.
the morriscums a bit further away has had a refit and has the misting stuff for their veg.

I've always called it morriscums!
It is a bit scummy, but they've had so many complaints that it's now getting better.

Just my local me, certainly not all the branches.

My local one. FFs!

I suspect it's down to how the managers treat their staff and what the customers are like that day.

The most striking example I ever came across was at university.

University catering staff produced awful food and were down right rude. The Guild of Students, 300 yards away had nice food and cheerful staff.

They were all 50 ish ladies who must all have come from the same area (not payed enough to be worth commuting).

Our Tesco's staff are lovely, ASDA's are fine, if you can find any. Our ASDA is huge! Hit lucky yesterday found someone stocking clothing who had out out what I was looking forGrin

Can't comment on Morrisions ours is expensive, dingy and very hard to find things in. It used to be a light airy, expensive Safeway. (The competition is M&S or Waitrose).

Thankfully it's not on my normal route. I don't go there often enough to comment on the staff
