4 exceedingly dull women blathering on, talking in cliches and applauding each other? DM loves it and I just don't get it. It's tedious. Am I missing something?

No, I can't stand it, hate everything about itSmile

YesThisTime · 03/09/2012 12:58

And why do they all sit there holding biros? Do they really believe that any of them will say anything worth noting down?

YADNBU

YesThisTime · 03/09/2012 13:01

Denise has just nodded sagely at her own point.

Jeepers, now they're all swooning over Chris 'Arsewipe' Moyles.

There's a telly show called Loose Women?!? Shock

Bet they'd never make a show called 'Loose Men.' Oh wait they did. It's every OTHER show on television. Two and a Half Men

FalseStartered · 03/09/2012 13:03

please kick the screen in turn your TV off

your blood pressure will thank you for it! Grin

YesThisTime · 03/09/2012 13:03

Is Moyles wearing a denim suit? Shock

MrsKeithRichards · 03/09/2012 13:07

It's insulting and for the hard of thinking.

LilyCocoplatt · 03/09/2012 13:08

Coven of cackling, vacuous witches, can't stand Sherrie, Carol McGiffin or Denise. I miss the Scottish one, Kay something or other she seemed to be more switched on than the rest of them put together.

Sparklingbrook · 03/09/2012 13:09

I gave up long ago.......

missymoomoomee · 03/09/2012 13:11

I refuse to watch that show simply because I hate Denise 'I've been open and honest about my battle with depression/problems in my marriage/addictions yet will continue to witter on about them in a superior manner and sell my story to anyone who chucks me a fiver' Welch.

Iggly · 03/09/2012 13:12

The answer is to switch it off.

CherryBlossom27 · 03/09/2012 13:13

I used to enjoy it but it's really tacky now :( Janet Street Porter is funny though!

MyNeighbourIsStrange · 03/09/2012 13:15

What has that poor me perfect princess weirdo done to her head? she looks like she has had a bike pump on her head and her little girl did her makeup and fake tan.

I liked Jackie Brambles, please tell me the pipsqueak bully is not coming back!

IWishIWasSheRa · 03/09/2012 13:19

What, you mean it's not the televised version of mumsnet?!

FalseStartered · 03/09/2012 13:23

you bet it's not

arthurfowlersallotment · 03/09/2012 13:25

Denise is ENGAGED?
Wasn't she, you know, married to that other fella half an hour ago?
Hmm

I can't stand them. Though for some unfathomable reason I'm watching it today.

laptopwieldingharpy · 03/09/2012 13:25

Haha Iwish! Good point

YANBU,

rockandahardplace2012 · 03/09/2012 13:26

Cannot stand this show, my mum used to watch it when i lived at home. It drove me mad. Carol McGiffin needs a smack, likes to hear the sound of her own voice too much that woman! Angry

upsylazy · 03/09/2012 13:26

What does Denise Welch actually do? I know she was in Corrie about 40 years ago but has she done anything alse since then apart from have marriage crises and appear on the front cover of tabloids/crappy magazines falling out of nightclubs or snogging some toyboy?

Purplehonesty · 03/09/2012 13:28

Tis pants. How on earth it is still on air I don't know.

MyNeighbourIsStrange · 03/09/2012 13:29

Denise has CLINICAL depression and it is so much worse than anyone else has suffered. I suspect she is bipolar myself.

arthurfowlersallotment · 03/09/2012 13:29

My DM who rarely swears, calls it Loose Cunts :o

FalseStartered · 03/09/2012 13:34

did you know Sherrie Hewson's marriage broke up?

no, me either, she NEVER mentions it Grin

EmmananaOrangeandGold · 03/09/2012 13:34

I have seen it a couple of times. I have rarely watched anything as dull and witless. It's like watching a women's coffee morning. All of them talking about how wonderful the others are.
