WIBu retaliating re the rude woman in the carpark

Yesterday morning I went to the supermarket. I was in a hurry as I had to finish a pavlova to take to a friends party. The supermarket was packed and traffic was standing waiting for spaces (one in one out). I was politely queueing when a driver got into her car just ahead of me obviously about to vacate a space. I waited behind the space indicating left that I was waiting . I gave her enough room and time to manoevre out. As she was doing this I saw an old woman in a bettered car behind me trying to squeeze down the inside to pass me and making it difficult for the other driver. I hooted as she almost scraped my car. To my disbelief she then swung into the space I had patiently waited for. I wound down my window to state the obvious that she was taking my space. She replied "so what" . I said you can't do that, we are all waiting". She relied I can do what I like. Two other drivers who had witnessed this also got out of cars to back me up. I was livid. In the end the parking warden came to sort it out. He pointed out another space ahead now empty and asked me to park in it. I did . I returned to speak to the other woman (aged about 80, dark glasses and very snotty). She continued to be rude when I repeated that her behaviour was unacceptable, and rude. After finishing my shopping 10 minutes later I was still very shaken up and angry. I tool a carton of cream from my bag and dribbled the word RUDE on her windscreen before driving off.

Sorry MirandaGoShawk - I hadn't spotted someone with Miranda in their username - so no I didn't mean you.
I meant Miranda Hart for whom 'Rude' is a regular catch phrase.

PorkyandBess · 26/08/2012 16:31

No, he isn't, he is kind and rational. And not nasty.

BuntCadger · 26/08/2012 16:31

GrinGrin well done op. It was cream people ffs not acid

A guy parked in p&c spaces and was quite rude when it was pointed out to him. I had a clean spare nappy of ds2 which I poured his apple juice onto and left under the drivers wiper.

BlackberryIce · 26/08/2012 16:32

Wonder what she did when she got back?

Birdsgottafly · 26/08/2012 16:33

OP are you around Hollyhead?

I only ask because there is a very old lady, who is very rude and shouldn't still be driving, she doesn't care if she causes accidents, that fits your description.

BuntCadger · 26/08/2012 16:34

Oh and I've taught my kids to defend themselves ( never knew that was a mnet crime either )

SigmundFraude · 26/08/2012 16:35

'Wonder what she did when she got back?'

Sat down to see whether her pension budget could stretch to having her car washed.

Birdsgottafly · 26/08/2012 16:36

No, he isn't, he is kind and rational.

He just hasn't encounted enough arseholes, who need payback dealt in a PA manner.

AlwaysBizzy · 26/08/2012 16:36

No you are NBU. It wasn't Waitrose in Bristol was it.?????
If not, maybe it's something to do with the type of people who shop in Waitrose?
If I'd seen you I'dve high fived you
Rude bitch = car covered in cream sounds fair doos in my book.

5madthings · 26/08/2012 16:36

ha ha what a great revenge! it will wash off but gets the point across well Grin

WildWorld2004 · 26/08/2012 16:36

I think the age of the woman is irrelavent. She was rude to overtake & take the space when u were waiting for it. Old people can not get away with being rude just because they are old.

OP I have wanted to do something like this as some people are so rude & dont care. Grin

MrMiyagi · 26/08/2012 16:37

I'd never do it in case it was illegal, but I do admire OP! Though after going to all that bother I'd like to think I'd leave a stronger message than "rude"!

ShakeShakeTheMuffin · 26/08/2012 16:38

YANBU, my hubby just said he'd have been tempted to let down her tyres. Shock

It's easily cleaned off - cars do come with windscreen washers after all. I'd have been bloody livid too. Age is no excuse.

northcountrygirl · 26/08/2012 16:38

Brilliant! I really want this to be true...

SPsFanjoSponsoredByFemFresh · 26/08/2012 16:38

This is something my 90 year old great grandma would do. The cream not the rudeness!

Someone parked illegally on the corner of the sheltered housing estate she lives. She would have had to do a big pointless maneuver turn in the street of a narrow road.

So she did what anyother 90 year old would. She scraped the side of the car with her own. Then got out and left a note saying "your lucky my car wasn't bigger"

Shock Grin

BlackberryIce · 26/08/2012 16:39

Actually, I'm not laughing as much now I have thought about it.

She would struggle to clean it really wouldn't she? I'm guessing her screenwash/windscreen wipers would smear it all around and in warm weather, it may have dried a bit. It would need a proper wash with 3 or 4 good rinses. In a supermarket car park that could prove difficult.

meetupmisery · 26/08/2012 16:40

I don't believe this

BuntCadger · 26/08/2012 16:40

Grin spsfanjo

BlackberryIce · 26/08/2012 16:40

Maybe she was running low on screenwash? ( must check mine!)

LadyBeagleEyes · 26/08/2012 16:41

Her age is irelevent.
She was rude.
My late mother was 80 when she died and never failed to be unfailingly polite.

spongebrainfatpants · 26/08/2012 16:41

I've keyed people's cars when they've been rude to me in car parks.
If I was pre menstral I'd have poured syrup or something equally awful over her car.
I don't care how old the other driver was. She was rude.

BuntCadger · 26/08/2012 16:41

blackberry yup it would be a real pain in the arse to clean off, but she will hopefully think twice about being so fucking rude. Karma is a bitch Grin

BlackberryIce · 26/08/2012 16:42

Are we all keeping an eye an Aibu in case someone posts later today about her grans car being covered in cream... I'm half expecting it

BlackberryIce · 26/08/2012 16:43

She may have driven off with poor visibility and crashed... Into someone?

BuntCadger · 26/08/2012 16:44

Shock sponge keyed cars?! I wouldn't go that far (worst I don't was when someone parks so close I've needed a can opener to get in and have opened my door rather hard against theirs Blush I was proud and was pregnant and uncomfortable trying to squeeze my great hulk and kids into car
