WIBu retaliating re the rude woman in the carpark

Yesterday morning I went to the supermarket. I was in a hurry as I had to finish a pavlova to take to a friends party. The supermarket was packed and traffic was standing waiting for spaces (one in one out). I was politely queueing when a driver got into her car just ahead of me obviously about to vacate a space. I waited behind the space indicating left that I was waiting . I gave her enough room and time to manoevre out. As she was doing this I saw an old woman in a bettered car behind me trying to squeeze down the inside to pass me and making it difficult for the other driver. I hooted as she almost scraped my car. To my disbelief she then swung into the space I had patiently waited for. I wound down my window to state the obvious that she was taking my space. She replied "so what" . I said you can't do that, we are all waiting". She relied I can do what I like. Two other drivers who had witnessed this also got out of cars to back me up. I was livid. In the end the parking warden came to sort it out. He pointed out another space ahead now empty and asked me to park in it. I did . I returned to speak to the other woman (aged about 80, dark glasses and very snotty). She continued to be rude when I repeated that her behaviour was unacceptable, and rude. After finishing my shopping 10 minutes later I was still very shaken up and angry. I tool a carton of cream from my bag and dribbled the word RUDE on her windscreen before driving off.

Oh and just to add...I hope the cream was a total pain in the arse for her to clean off.

carabos · 27/08/2012 09:44

Swimming against the tide here, but kudos to the "old bag" for thinking fuck this and jumping the q when she saw the opportunity.

pictish · 27/08/2012 09:48

Why kudos?

NoLogo · 27/08/2012 09:53

By all means use cream or even cheese,

But in your bag please, keep your keys.

Salmo could slip and split her kipper,

It could happen to your nipper,

but lets stop the fishy theme,

'cos it's all about the cream

In this thread Pictish invested,

the op could get arrested.

Felonious use,

of dairy produce,

is no excuse,

to some,

with their face a cats bum.

Some found the swearing,

quite wearing,

but this thread has made me piss,

so I'll end it with a kiss,

BuntCadger · 27/08/2012 09:58

Grin nologo

pictish · 27/08/2012 09:59

Lol! If any thread was ever deserving of an ode, this is it. Grin

NoLogo · 27/08/2012 09:59

Aww thank, Bunt, I am usually the only one who laughs at my jokes.

gordyslovesheep · 27/08/2012 10:29

Brilliant thread - OP I don't think you committed any kind of bad murder or anything - well done Grin

I can't get this image out of my head for some reason

olympicsrock · 27/08/2012 11:05

And the winner in the dairy olympics of the gold medal is Nologo - absolutely love your ode!
Silver goes to JamieandtheOlympic torch - She did get her just desertsGrin
Joint bronze goes to LittleMoo - How Dairy! and Tryingnottofeck up - no point crying over spilt milk milk.

Special mentions to Pictish and Director for their awesome support. Director i did consider trying the cream cleaning experiment myself after reading your post until i figured that it would give Salmo, Porkyand Bess and her smug son and the rest of the catsbums and Mary Poppins crew far too much satisfaction.

I would like to conclude that i would still be very tempted to retaliate at this level of rude and entitled behaviour but next time i will write RUDE COWBAG (and maybe use squirty cream) xxxxx

Not read the whole thread but YANBU!

I don't give two shits how old people are, shitty behaviour gets a shitty response! Or in this case creamy!

No I can say in my professional capacity that this woman was highly likely simply to be rude and entitled. She was extremely "with it", see parking skills ! able bodied and nastily spiteful in her comments to me.
I am normally an upstanding member of the community Grin

Well done her, great driving skills!

Blackberry - many of us have equally good driving skills but do not hustle other drivers out of a space and queue barge. There was no doubt that I was in front of her in the queue. She had been behind me in a single file queue for 15 mins.

Iggly · 27/08/2012 13:34

PMSL. I love the shaken rage making you write in cream on her car.

YANBU

simplesusan · 27/08/2012 13:34

Late comer to the thread.
I think the other woman was rude.
I dislike queue jumpers.
Well done op for using the cream.

MixedBerries · 27/08/2012 13:39

OP. I'd like to congratulate you. If more people objected publicly to such rude behaviours, the perpetrators may think twice about being such entitled arses next time. You did good in my book!!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 27/08/2012 13:42

YANBU. I think that's hilarious. Would be completely different if she had bad eyesight, was being vague, or was contrite about it, but you gave her more than one chance to behave decently and she didn't.

Wish I'd got in sooner with a 'just desserts' comment Grin.

Do you think the cream did run and become unreadable? [worried]

ShiftyFades · 27/08/2012 13:44

I think the OP is someone most of us would want as a friend Wink
Full of admiration of you Grin

olympicsrock · 27/08/2012 13:55

Thanks shifty

knackeredmother · 27/08/2012 14:17

Love it!!!

alemci · 27/08/2012 14:26

I don't blame you at all. why do people have to be so rude in the first place.

at least you spoke to her calmly and tried to sort the situation out in a dignified manner.

it must have really made you upset

Fourfingerkitkat · 27/08/2012 15:27

peterrabbitismyfriend

Or maybe she was just an old bag with no manners...sounds more likely to me.

Well done OP. You did what most people don't have the bottle to do.

Do post it notes count as vandalism ? If so then I have also vandalised a car...parked on a path so that I was unable to get past with my double pram. Left a simple note saying "nice parking arsehole". Childish but made me feel better....

WigGold · 27/08/2012 16:00

God what a nasty trolling stalker that floranora is, has anyone reported her yet? I would but I think I've used up my quota this weekend.
