yes yabu, you should be saying, aye, salt and sauce on everything - then being given chippy sauce.

SoleSource · 25/08/2012 17:19

Mayo is normal.

It's red it brown in this house. (red is Heinz ONLY or hp for brown.)

WelshMaenad · 25/08/2012 17:22

But brown sauce is called brown sauce. HP is just a brand of it, like Heinz ketchup.

iismum · 25/08/2012 17:24

Absolutely, tabulah - salt and sauce is all you need to say, unless you're some sort of freak.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 25/08/2012 17:24

Red or brown sauce is right.

Salt and sauce is wrong wrong wrong

Flisspaps · 25/08/2012 17:26

Brown sauce, be that HP or any other brand, is just fucking disgusting.

Red sauce, be that Heinz or value brands, is the dog's bollocks.

SoleSource · 25/08/2012 17:26

No gravy here. In the NE there is a chicken sauce that is sold tjere in the chippirs I have been told it is very nice.

SoleSource · 25/08/2012 17:33

I am a saucy snob. What can I say?

OP posts:
akaemmafrost · 25/08/2012 17:36

It's "ketchup" for red sauce but for HP it's "brown sauce".

I don't know why, it just is!

LoopyLoopsOlympicHoops · 25/08/2012 17:38

Ketchup is ketchup. Brown sauce is brown sauce. You don't call ketchup 'Hens' do you? Why HP/Daddies then?

LoopyLoopsOlympicHoops · 25/08/2012 17:38

Heins

SoleSource · 25/08/2012 17:46
