AIBU to be pissed off with OH

Nannyto2 · 18/08/2012 12:47

I'll try to cut a long story short

Me and OH are both big football fans & agreed we would go to the first home game of season . When speaking about it before tickets came on sale (weeks ago) we agreed we would until they go general sale so we both could go. OH is a member so could of got his ticket before the general sale. OH basically ignored what we'd agreed and went ahead and got his ticket in the members sale and then lied to me and said he didn't get any in the general sale as they had sold out.
This morning when ask OH what he's doing he informs me he's going to football.

AIBU to have a go at him and be pissed off?

AIBU

OK, just make sure you clear the lock-changing with the landlord/agent then.

Nannyto2 · 19/08/2012 00:13

Spoke to them earlier and explained it all, landlord said aslong as u cover the costs and drop a key round ASAP its fine.

Oh nanny, I have just read this thread and my heart dropped when I got to the end Sad. I'm
Really sorry he has done this to you. I have been there and know how horrible it is. Please leave the lying cheating bastard. He doesn't deserve you.

StuntGirl · 19/08/2012 00:17

Wouldn't like to be him when he returns haha.

Excellent - glad you have a sensible LL there! :)

MrMiyagi · 19/08/2012 01:03

"at least 100 messages" - flirty/steamy, or innocent chat?

Thumbwitch · 19/08/2012 01:05

Irrelevant question, frankly. If the OP has decided to leave because he is cheating on her, then it's a pretty obvious inference, surely?

MrMiyagi · 19/08/2012 01:09

I genuinely don't see OP mention cheating in reference to the messages or chucking him out though.

Nannyto2 · 19/08/2012 08:20

Messages were all flirty & sexual. He called her stuff he use to call me Angry

DontmindifIdo · 19/08/2012 08:28

He has done you a massive favour - get rid, don't look back.

Nannyto2 · 19/08/2012 08:33

Oh I'm going to have fun clearing his shit stuff out GrinGrin

CakeBump · 19/08/2012 08:51

I'm sorry to hear that OP, but sounds like you're doing the right thing.

You don't need people like that in your life.

Good luck x

sashh · 19/08/2012 09:11

I think I would have washed his ticket with some clothes on a hot wash.

OHforDUCKScake · 19/08/2012 09:21

You dont seem to cut up about it. So I guess it must be quite a relief to be rid of the prick. What a nasty bastard. To text you 'great atmosphere, shame it sold out etc' was just nasty. It doesnt surprise me that a person like that is playing away (pun not intended).

Nannyto2 · 19/08/2012 10:09

At minute I'm fine about it, I'm sure once it kicks in I won't be the same

OP posts:
CakeBump · 19/08/2012 10:11

Then get all the shit stuff done while you're feeling strong, and don't be surprised if/when the tears come later.

This is a process - anger/sadness/etc, you just have to get through it.

MrsTomHardy · 19/08/2012 10:12

Good luck OP

Nannyto2 · 19/08/2012 10:15

Help please
He's text saying 'I'll be home at 12ish, what's for dinner??'
Do I reply or ignore him??

OP posts:
stifnstav · 19/08/2012 10:18

Reply, otherwise he might get suspicious if you would normally reply.

Rather than go to your mum's, can't you just stop him from getting in? Keys in the locks etc? Then just throw his stuff out of the bedroom window. I've always secretly wanted to do that.

CakeBump · 19/08/2012 10:18

Are you going to be there when he gets back?

If not I would tell him something like your at your mum's, you won't be back today or tonight but that you need to talk. Maybe arrange to see him in th epub tomorrow evening or something.

If you will be there, I would just bring the chat forward to today. On text tell him you'll see him then, but you're going out later but you need to speak to him first. Then when you have "the chat" tell him what you know, that you'll be off to your mum's later, that he has until tomorrow to find somewhere to stay Monday night and gather his stuff. Anything he hasn't got time to take you will send on.

This is just what I would do in your situation, of course....

stifnstav · 19/08/2012 10:18

When I say to reply, tell him what's for dinner.

CakeBump · 19/08/2012 10:19

oh sorry for the typos. Wanted to reply quickly in case you were in a state...

MrsTomHardy · 19/08/2012 10:20

I would reply and say Whatever you're making yourself as i'll be out
