Just wondered what peoples kids do while they are on mums net. Some people are on here an awful lot even on sunny days when they should be outdoors.
I really am not judging- just curious.

TalcAndTurnips · 15/08/2012 21:46

I won't be able to come coffee tasting Sad

Coffee has a strange effect on me. It might make me do the murdering again.

SarahStratton · 15/08/2012 21:46

Fucking ace, Tee.

But what about LittleDog? Would he have to do quarantine from Hawaii? :(

Still, he wouldn't need clothes, just a light cotton tshirt to stop him burning. And his Doggles, obviously. Maybe a sunhat, to stop heat stroke.

WorraLiberty · 15/08/2012 21:46

Apart from you have just reminded me of the time, post birth that a bit of retained placenta fell out of me. And I had to put it on a plate, cover it in foil and refrigerate it so the midwife could inspect it

Oh don't, I have this mental vision of your DH sitting on the couch next to you, tucking into a 'sandwich'...whilst you look on and smirk Grin

Or am I just particularly cruel? Blush

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:48

My suddenly not so dear husband has said that we could just go to Starbucks and save £3,000.

Would it be wrong to kill him and bury him under the patio?

SarahStratton · 15/08/2012 21:49

But just think Talc, Hawaii could be the perfect place to get away from the Zombie Apocalypse/Pandemic/Rapture/AnyOtherRandomWorldEndingEvent.

Me n Tee will keep you away from the narrow. Unless the Zombies invade, then you'll be getting it IV stylee

MsNobodyAgain · 15/08/2012 21:50

Worra no joke, no exaggeration. I was quite poorly and he had to make his own tea (unheard of, he was devastated). I left the bastard

Guess which plate he found in the fridge and unwrapped?

Grin

No, he didn't eat it. I'm not THAT cruel.

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:51

We could take the SS MatriARC! No airfare!!!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 15/08/2012 21:51

I'm on when DS is either asleep or playing on his play gym

Glittertwins · 15/08/2012 21:51

But you still have to take the children otherwise they will be neglected!

silverdollarqueen · 15/08/2012 21:53

Sent mine down the shop to buy my fags and scratch cards.
Well how am I supposed to go on mn with them around?
Is that what you want to hear?

I use the iPod app and lurk whilst breastfeeding, which is a lot of the time.

MyinnergoddessisatLidl · 15/08/2012 21:53

msnobody you had the foundations of a steak n kidney pie there!

Op I had imagined most judgees of MN assumed the children to be in Boarding school, or in the attic nursery having high tea with nanny, allowing us time to flick through the Boden catalogue with perfectly manicured hands.

TalcAndTurnips · 15/08/2012 21:53

I had coffee with sugar in once.

Woke up under a tarpaulin on the back of a pick-up truck in Solihull with a funny taste like marzipan in my mouth.

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:54

I.Love.You. talc For always.

MsNobodyAgain · 15/08/2012 21:56

Hugh Fearnly Whittingwhatever once ate placenta pie.

FACT!

Definitely a fact as I put it in caps and am now giving it the

TalcAndTurnips · 15/08/2012 21:56

Tee Thanks

Can I come anyway and watch you and Stratters doing that spitting out bit into a metal bucket?

Notcybermum · 15/08/2012 21:56

Just one more question to confirm my suspicions before I leave for pastures more intellectual...
Is an 11+
a sky channel
Kung po chicken
An assessment to seperate the intellegent child from the mainstream?

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:57

But you forgot to italicize it! So it's not really a fact...

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:57

Yes, Talc.

You may even hold the bucket. ::generous::

SarahStratton · 15/08/2012 21:58

I love Talc too. She's on my very tiny list of MNers I'd actually like to meet. Although, I'd terrify her with my coffee habit...

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:58

"before I leave for pastures more intellectual"

Bye. Try not to trip on the way out.

Glittertwins · 15/08/2012 21:58

You don't quite get this do you??

MsNobodyAgain · 15/08/2012 21:59

Damn Tee. This is why I need an ASBO. Just when you think you know the rules of MN, you get it all wrong. Grin

TalcAndTurnips · 15/08/2012 21:59

Hurrah and huzzah!

Glittertwins · 15/08/2012 22:00

I don't have Sky so I'm evidently more intellectual than yoooooooo!
