on holiday. No internet. No mobile signal. No sky TV.

DD2 is being weird and autistic about seaweed. DD1 is being teenage angsty and stressed about exam results. DH is breathing loudly.

I am drinking quite heavily and considering starting smoking again.

I would not recommend Monkeyworld. Although I admire what the proprietors have done in relation to conservation, my husband I went there (lots of petrol money and planning to spend the day there), but were disppointed because we'd been round the all of it in half a day. We had won the tickets to get in but had to tavel miles to get there.

I have to add that we did not have children with us so it would have taken longer to get round.

We had already been to orang utan sanctuaries in Sumatra and Borneo so did not see anything that we were not familiar with. An orang utan taught me how to remove the skin from a lychee. She took it from me, skinned it and handed it back. What an experience!.

I have suggested dd takes her seaweed phobia to dr pixie. She declines. Killjoy.

We're off to Durdle Door at the end of next week and my favourite bit is watching my phone signal dissapear as we drive down the track to the caravan!

How old are your DD's? We take our 2 (12 and 4.5) to Adventure Wonderland in Christchurch, lots of rides and lots of space for wandering around/nice picnic spots etc. Our 2 also love Monkey World but only for the park bit!

I was the one scowling because old ladies kept stopping in front of me without warning!

Morning.

I am considering forcing the H to the GP with his unreasonable breathing. It is not normal.
