What's a precious moment?

wankpants · 10/08/2012 12:46

Is that a perfume?

SoleSource · 10/08/2012 12:48

Ban yourself first.

HellonHeels · 10/08/2012 12:48

"When will I see you again? When we will have precious moments?"

WorraLiberty · 10/08/2012 12:50

Sounds like a pack of cheap condoms...

OddBoots · 10/08/2012 12:50

Sings: "When will I see you again... when will we share precious moments? Grin

Fillybuster · 10/08/2012 12:50
Grin

Probably. But I'm happy to join you in your unreasonableness. Bloody irritating, innit?

squeakytoy · 10/08/2012 12:50

stop all the bloody cheesy singing will you... you are all ruining my precious moment of peace here! Grin

OddBoots · 10/08/2012 12:51

Cross posts with HellonHeels. Great minds and all that. Grin

roundtable · 10/08/2012 12:51

Is that a dogging website?

Chandon · 10/08/2012 12:51

oh Gosh!!!! I have said it!!

I mean in any SAHM-WOHM debate.

or if thrown at anyone who bothers to brush their hair in the morning (and could be spending precious moments with the kids instead)

No Singing Allowed either ( Hmmcan I apply for the post of MN manager somewhere?!).

it is all getting too much for me, I could be with my kids spending precious moments, but here I am, on MN.....

maybe a quiet flounce will do

HellonHeels · 10/08/2012 12:52

Come on squeaky join in the singing!

Mintyy · 10/08/2012 12:54

Been here 6 years. Never once noticed anyone saying "precious moments", thankfully.

Yanbu.

Pagwatch · 10/08/2012 12:54

Can we ban people?

Excellent

"I feel sorry for your children" ban

"wow. Just wow" ban

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 10/08/2012 12:55

"precious moments" sounds like a discreet female orgasm enhancer you could buy in boots

squeakytoy · 10/08/2012 12:57

"i was a bit sick in my mouth"

lifetime ban with immediate effect..

StealthPolarBear · 10/08/2012 12:59

I used precious moments in a SAHM / WOHM thread the other day
Do I get banned? Do I have any right of appeal?

rainonmyparade · 10/08/2012 13:00

I'd ban them too ^

CapuccinoCannoliLover · 10/08/2012 13:01

Wtf is 'precious moments'?! Thanks for cheering up an extremely tired mummy with 2 week old DS and 4YO DS with the dogging, cheap condom etc comments! Smile

EldritchCleavage · 10/08/2012 13:02

I am now singing 'When Will I see You Again' by the Three Degrees...

"when will we shaaaare pre-cious MO-ments..."

Am I banned?

MardyArsedMidlander · 10/08/2012 13:04

Ahem. The correct phrase is:
YOU WILL NEVER GET THOSE PRECIOUS MOMENTS BACK.

And any mother who mutters 'Thank Gd' should be shamed and is obviously Not a Proper Woman.

StealthPolarBear · 10/08/2012 13:05

How about "I'm having a precious moment on MN while my DC watch a DVD"?

TantrumsAndOlympicGoldBalloons · 10/08/2012 13:06

It's funny how the people saying precious moments
you can never get this time back i feel sorry for the chikdren to WOHM, or anyone who doesn't attach their child to their hips 24/7 are effectively losing said precious moments whilst posting on mumsnet

Im with you Grin

OddBoots · 10/08/2012 13:06

If it wasn't one o'clock in the afternoon it'd be the forum equivalent to heading home after a night on the town with our arms around each other's shoulders singing and stumbling along.

MardyArsedMidlander · 10/08/2012 13:07

'I'm having a precious moment' sounds like a euphemism for orgasming Grin

(Not saying I have never orgasmed over MN...)
