Ok, so I know team GB are doing great in the Olympics but come on for f**ks sake ITV....we've had about 4 Olympic stories before Tia Sharp has been mentioned ! Am I the only one that thinks a little missing girl is more important than the Olympic bloody games !?

I was thinking that too,MrsJR,it really is horrific that the remains have been left for a week....I don't want to say the words, but I think we can all imagine how gruesome that would be :(

Ghoulish, indeed.

TheDreadedFoosa · 11/08/2012 23:42

Lemarch - but theyre only expressing their deep sadness about this awful situation Hmm not at all getting off on trying to second guess the next instalment of their current fucking soap opera.

Theyve managed to shut down all previous threads with their inability to muster a little restraint and respect, so all-consuming is their need to grub over every sordid scrap of information, hopefully this one will gp pffft soon too.

Some fucker even had the audacity after yesterdays events to demand an apology from HQ and those of us who thought all the miss marple speculation was completely fucking inappropriate and disrespectful! THAT is how very unable they are to even grasp what the objections are, fucking clueless.

24HourPARDyPerson · 11/08/2012 23:43

what do you mean by 'Hoping dad can cancel his holiday...', MrsJREwing?

Surely that poor child's father is not planning on taking a holiday? I must have gotten the wrong end of the stick

That was apparently his issue from a thread yesterday according to a mn.poster. I assume he has since changed his plans. Those brothers of Natalie seem not much older than Tia.

24HourPARDyPerson · 11/08/2012 23:48

Just so awfully sad, the poor girl.

differentnameforthis · 12/08/2012 04:32

There has been no formal identification of the body yet, I hope Natalie is spared that. Maybe Dad can postpone his holiday ... spare Natalie that, she's had more than enough to endure

Because he hasn't also lost his daughter too. What an odd remark to make, like only Tia's mum has suffered through this. Hmm

MrsJREwing · 12/08/2012 08:09

Hazel has been charged.

I imagine its harder for Natalie for.reasons I won't post on the internet, how odd not to comprehend how difficult it is for Natalie. Paper reporting Tia's Dad is now in london.

Morning. Just a reminder to all that we have no problem with posts that mention the fact that Stuart Hazell has been charged with Tia's murder - now that he has.

But any posts speculating on or asserting his guilt will be deleted. As will posts speculating on the involvement of other family members or on any of the 'evidence' in this case.

We're sure none of you would want to prejudice the proceedings of any eventual trial.

MrsJREwing · 12/08/2012 09:21

I wasn't doing any of the above, I don't understand why my post was deleted.

HildaOgden · 12/08/2012 10:21

Ditto,MrsJREwing, mine was deleted too and I didn't do any of the above.

May that poor child rest in peace :(

TheDreadedFoosa · 12/08/2012 11:35

Perhaps you were deleted for being crashingly disrespectful?
Perhaps you were deleted for seeming to revel in someone elses tragedy?
Perhaps you were deleted because its sickening to see people get so very fucking excited over the death of a child?
Perhaps you were deleted because you are talking absolute shite about something you know fuck all about?
Perhaps you were deleted because while its perfectly natural to have opinions about events in the news, it generally takes a particular type of disrespectful, mawkish ghoul to spew all those opinions on a public forum?

I dont know, hopefully HQ can give you some clarification if you're really baffled.

cfc · 12/08/2012 13:03

Foosa (we're just watchingMadagascar now actually!) I don't think it's fair to say that people are revelling in the death of a child. I don't think it makes someone ghoulish to chat about what they think has happened online as they would any other piece of news. This is a discussion forum.

MNHQ don't want to libel anyone or prejudice the resulting trials. They're not in the business of stifling discussion.

I think we can safely assume that everyone wishes the child was not dead.

What Foosa said, all of it. Some of the posts on this thread are beyond the pale. What ever happened to decency and respect?
