do women having periods make them less capable

OP posts:
FeakAndWeeble · 06/08/2012 22:29

That sentence makes absolutely no sense.

HTH.

iggi777 · 06/08/2012 22:30

Are you asking aibu to have a son who thinks this?
Confused.

BlueBirdsNest · 06/08/2012 22:30

ok lol
sorry

OP posts:
Jacksmania · 06/08/2012 22:30

If that's really what he thinks, then that's a little frightening.

Has he told you how he's come to think that?

TwllBach · 06/08/2012 22:31

Can I be the first to say...

This isn't going to end well, OP.

BlueBirdsNest · 06/08/2012 22:32

no he said tonight that he thinks that wowen should not be able to hold positions in government because they get pmt

OP posts:
BlueBirdsNest · 06/08/2012 22:33

He is only 19 though Jacksmania and thinks , that women in positions in power will hve PMT and screw it all up

OP posts:
WithoutCaution · 06/08/2012 22:33

...And some men think with their dicks Hmm

AllYoursBabooshka · 06/08/2012 22:34

No.

Periods do not make women less capable.

ChickensArentEligableForGold · 06/08/2012 22:34

Not all women get PMT. And the majority of women who do, have mild symptoms relieved by chocolate and wine

WithoutCaution · 06/08/2012 22:34
  • Posted too soon - and may also screw things up
OxfordBags · 06/08/2012 22:34

Tell him that if men can get into power when so many of them are ignorant misogynists like him, then a few women with PMT (which not all women get anyway) should be able to cope...

Sassybeast · 06/08/2012 22:35

And this is the son that you brought up......

FeakAndWeeble · 06/08/2012 22:35

Yeah well, tell him men have two heads and they shouldn't be in power because they frequently think with the little one.

WorraLiberty · 06/08/2012 22:35

May I be the first to say your son's a twat?

Sorry but he is

A 19 year old adult should know better by now.

yellowraincoat · 06/08/2012 22:36

If women are so mentally unstable, why is it that the majority of prisoners who have committed violent crimes are men?

GhostShip · 06/08/2012 22:36

That's not a good thing for a teenage boy to be thinking, quite scary in fact.

Although I'm glad I'm not in charge because id be culling people a few days before my period....

ChickensArentEligableForGold · 06/08/2012 22:36
MordecaiAndTheRigbys · 06/08/2012 22:37

If he actually did say that I would suggest that you put him right fair sharply. Does your son have such disregard for women usually? Being 19 is no excuse. Why are you not putting him in his place?

GurlwiththeFrothyGoldMedal · 06/08/2012 22:37

Aw, sweet, OP. Aren't some lads that age as daft as brushes! So much to learn.

My two DSs are a similar age and they wouldn't dare say something as stupid as that in front of me Wink

AllYoursBabooshka · 06/08/2012 22:37

He is a grown man.

Sounds like too much South Park to me.

Tell him to wise up.

MrsKeithRichards · 06/08/2012 22:37

I remember my 2nd or 3rd period, I was 11 and wanted to take the day of school and stay in bed. My mum asked what did I think would happen to the world if every women took to their bed for 3 days a month!

BlueBirdsNest · 06/08/2012 22:37

I have brought him up to be 'accepting' so it did confuse me when he said ....any women given the ability to put their finger on button should not be allowed to because PMT will make them trigger happy

OP posts:
Sassybeast · 06/08/2012 22:38

'The button' Shock

Chubfuddler · 06/08/2012 22:38

What do you think of this comment of your son's? Out if character, or representative of how he views women?
