As a sport yes, but the whole benny hill thing is really irritating.

The bikinis are completely pointless

loving it and i cant see the problem with bikinis as it is a beach game.

They're no different to what the athletes wear

I am liking it too, very watchable and I am not a sport fan. The on off music is a bit irritating though.

Yes I know that but the nation doesn't gawp at Paula Radcliffe or Kelly Holmes in the same phwoar way

I watched it to be all judgy about it not being a sport but ended up really getting into it and may have yelled at the tv a bit

I don't mind the bikini tops but think they could be in board shorts, after all they are beach attire too. It's the whole feeling of it with the benny hill music and bump and grind cheerleaders. These women are athletes and should be celebrated as such without all the rest of it.

Was watching this with DS1 and 2, called them in for their tea with no response went in to see what they were doing and found them glued to the beach volley ball. DS2 says he would like to be a beach volley ball commentator when he grows up.

So why don't we letch after the athletes if we letch after the volleyballers?

I enjoyed it. Those girls have eaten too many pies though.

It is like we are still in the 70s and Benny Hill is still on the TV

People do letch after the other athletes though just not in such a fnar fnar way as the other sports don't encourage it through music and peripheral stuff.

Tennis is a good example.
