He's in tears, I'm the worlds cruelest mother :( it goes on till 00.30 and I'm shattered. I've a 9 month old and 4 year old. Been a busy week with lots of days out. He's seen 2 different friends today and grandparents. His dad is picking him up at 9am, I am taking the little ones to a party as well so busy day tomorrow.

So am I being unreasonable?

YABU, 12? My DS is sat watching it and he is 5. He'll be grumpy tomorrow but oh well he can have a nap if he wants to.

YABU!
I'm letting dd1 (7) watch. She will probably fall asleep by the end, but she will remember watching it

blueglue · 27/07/2012 21:33

Yabvu

My 6yo is watching.

GobblersKnob · 27/07/2012 21:34

Ds and dd are watching it, ds is 8 (today) and dd is 4! And we have spent the day at a safari park and are all knackered.

I am obviously not really watching it as I am mnetting, but I am not that fussed.

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 27/07/2012 21:42

Mine are watching it and loving it! (6 and7)

They're 'camping' on the front room floor tonight in sleeping bags to make an occasion of it.

Mamamaiasaura · 27/07/2012 21:43

I have now glimpsed a bit of it. Have changed mind. Children should be protected from this. Send him to bed immediately!

Loving everyone staying up with the DC's to watch. This is one for our memory book. Made a traditional English dish of Chicken Tika, Coke and we're camped on the floor.

You can go to bed. Why can't he watch it alone and go to bed after? Yabu. That isn't very late and it's a Friday night!

FannyFifer · 27/07/2012 22:42

My 7 year old still up, absolutely loving it.

WorraLiberty · 27/07/2012 22:43

My 13yr old and my 9yr old are watching

The table in the lounge is covered in sweets, crisps and jam tarts Grin Torch

We saw the Blue Arrows go over earlier and the kids nearly wet themselves with excitement...so when all the Mary Poppins entered the Stadium, I went out the garden and pretended I could see them flying over.

My DH was the only one who fell for it Grin

DontEatTheVolesKids · 27/07/2012 22:44

Mine are staying up Blush. Well, 4yo has conked out but the others can stay up & put selves to bed, even the 8yo.

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 27/07/2012 22:45

Mine are still going strong.

They'll wake up tomorrow in sleeping bags filled with crumbs. Bless 'em!
