. . . to wonder if baby Blanche was ever born?

There was a thread a few months ago about a woman who got to choose their first born's name under the proviso that her husband could name any future daughter Blanche, after his grandmother I think.

She was then outraged that he expected her to stick to her word and agree to call their daughter Blanche.

Does anyone know what happened. She got her knickers in a big knotty twist when people sided with her husband.

I've been waiting for one of these "whatever happened in the end..." threads to ask if anyone knew whether baby Blanche was called baby Blanche. Still no closure. [sighs]

I know dogs called senna and Gunnar

And I foolishly used up my favourite ever name on the dog years before having babies became a reality

I was all for Blanche. I do hope little Blanche existes now. Ayrton is awful, sorry.

I remember that thread i was definitely on the 'Blanche is not a nice name, but you can't go back on your word you have to suck it up' side.

DP and I are currently having battles - our baby is due in 4 weeks and we can only agree on 1 name for a boy, but sadly every other person on the planet hates it! Nothing else we can agree on tho. :(

How funny that people like the name Enzo... I hated it. It's an old mans name surely? Plus we have a z in our surname so it would have been very zeddy..,
