THIS HOT WEATHER.

Yes, it's hot and clammy.

Yes, I can't feel any breeze through the window.

Yes, the car is scorching when it's been parked in the sun.

Yes, the kitchen is like a sauna when cooking.

Yes, my feet look like they've ballooned up like a puffy fish.

BUT IT'S LOVELY SUNNY HOT WEATHER!! After all that shitty rain, it's absolutely lovely (and I normally hate hot weather).

Please don't jinx it......I don't want it to start raining again :(:(:(:(

Exactly. We had the shittiest spring (and winter preceding it) ever in my corner of the world, and within two days, once the weather turned, there were people bitching about the heat.

I put up with it for about 20 minutes a little bit and then raised my voice and said the next person who complains about the heat can have the never-ending rain back!!

And silence reigned in the land...

Yep, me too, I usually hate it when it gets hot. I have surprised myself with my enthusiasm for all this sun! The endless weeks of cold and rain were just too much to bear....

there is nothing wrong with the sun. It's the sudden huge temp jumps. We just aren't just to it. The sun and blue sky thing is quite a novel change.

I'm with K9999999999...... I rarely moan about the weather but if I want to I will! Its far to hot for my liking - why cant we just get a nice even temp somewhere between the rain adn the sun...its not too much to ask for surely - a bit of consistancy ;)

We've randomly had cold and wet and humid hot and wet for weeks. Often on the same day, so you've no idea whether to wear jeans and take a coat, or cropped trousers, T shirt and brolly.

Its been lovely in my garden in Glasgow today.

22', slightly breezy. Not only good for drying washing, but, comfortable in a tshirt as well
DD age 3, ran around all day & fell asleep before 8pm for the 1st time EVER, I think. Absolutely splendid .

Tomorrow is meant to be Scorchio though so I will probably melt. Will also have to bribe DS2 into wearing sunscreen, but will be making the most of it.

Thankfully I'm on holiday for 2 weeks (DC on summer holidays)

I work in NHS clinics and I can guarentee, as soon as patients put one foot across the threshold.

This weather is gorgeous!

It's like going abroad somewhere nice and hot, but without the hassle of travelling, I can have some privacy when the family start irritating me and I can use my own loo. Result!

I really in hope it doesn't start up with the rain again after this week. People who moan about it are ungrateful baskets (apart from elderly of course).

I'll stop moaning about the heat when the sun lovers stop referring to hot weather as 'better' for example last week people saying "The forecasts say it'll be better next week."

I ususually like the sun and hot weather and I would normally agree with you, but I've got the flu (I might have mentioned that once or twice already ) and the heat makes it much worse. Our bedroom has a large east-facing window (in fact the whole east wall is window) and I woke up covered in sweat early this morning. I'm longing for some rain ...
