Yes, nice they incorporated the Olympics into it, but frankly I find EE totally boring nowadays. There's no story line any more... just a bunch of - boring - sketches.

Tommy and the other kids were great. It was live from when Billy left his flat.

I loved it! Sobbed through most of the birth and totally lost it seeing Billy holding the olympic flame, damn post baby hormones.

Hope I can hold it together through the actual olympics.

You could def tell the difference between Perry and Billy. He was so obviously enjoying it I couldn't help smiling.

aww I loved it and some people were shouting perry not billy was all warm and fuzzy watching it, DD2 and I decided Kat is going with all the football team including syed

I normally can't stand EE but thought it was lovely. You could see the cast really enjoying it and Perry looked very proud to be carrying the torch.

I enjoyed it.
And I really fucking hate EE...

The birth scenes were also live.

I thought it was fab and easties felt very real for ten minutes!

Not watched EE for years so on a slight tangent, saw Ian Beale on a magazine looking like a down and out, what's that all about?
