Have posted in the litter tray about the cat , and got some good advice

But I'm seriously considering not keeping her and re-homing her, and I feel a bit crap about even thinking that

She has been with us for 6 days

Bites, scratches , hisses and spits .

Would I be the worst prson in the world if I re-homed her?

Grin Am so pleased for you that you kept her. Your relationship has withstood a rocky start, it will be all the stronger for it.

Was Sad to hear that my MIL did similar, my SIL stupidly got her a rescue terrier, from what must have been a dodgy type rescue or from a friend as they didnt bother to do a cat test. The dog, despite being really obedient, chased MILs cats - dogs chase cats, who knew????? I pleaded with her to give it more than the three days that she gave it with the dog and promised her that it would settle down with the cats. OK so no garuntee but 3 days really wasn#t enough time, what i predicted would happen is that one of the cats would swipe the dogs nose a goodun and that would put it in its place and they would tolerate each other. My cats used to do that kneeding thing on my rotties chest FFS. Although im pretty sure my terriers would see cats as lunch, a swipe with a claw would shut them up. But she woudlnt have it, and i don't know what happened to the poor dog.
