Biscuit

I am starting to yawn at these threads. Good try OP...NOT

Debeezandbirds · 15/07/2012 16:11

Why not, long as it's not a disabled bay or double yellows you can pretty much park wherever you please. Don't see why you'd be so thrilled by it though. Maybe you'd like to come round and watch me do my ironing? No doubt it would take you a good week to calm down from all the excitement.

Hassled · 15/07/2012 16:12

Did you do a wheely as you spun in? Was it like something out of the Sweeney? Did you point and laugh as heavily pregnant women from far and wide dragged recalcitrant toddlers across a dangerously busy car park?

Oh my, however will people get (tiny) babies out of their car?

Will they actually have to park at the back of the carpark? Jesus wept.

cryhavoc · 15/07/2012 16:15

Thrilling?

OP, you're getting old if this is all it takes to thrill you.

Socknickingpixie · 15/07/2012 16:20

It very much depends on how you view life, if you own the car park or not and if you have any respect for other peoples property.

I personally don't get the point of those bays yes they make life easyer but they arnt essential but if I use a carpark that I do not own by using it I am consenting to obey the rules of the owner if that owner marks some bays for the use of a perticular customer then I wouldn't park in those bays.

It's a bit like pulling up outside a friends driveway where they have say 3 car spaces I know she prefers to leave a space with a large gap for what ever reason so I intentionally park in a way not to leave that gap.

CountvonViscount · 15/07/2012 16:21

it is exciting.
You have to RUN from the shop to the space. Looking like you might have a baby.
Kinda

Next time bring a dolly wrapped in a blanket. Awww. Grin

Socknickingpixie · 15/07/2012 16:27

My mum does this all the time because she can't understand the point of them they didn't have them in her day and why the fuck can't people with babies park further away from the doors.

My mum also has an area that she likes to leave empty on her property for the farrier or vet or shooters to use as it's more convieneant to them, she gets rather cross when my brother insists on parking in it because he thinks it's a stupid idea

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/07/2012 16:28

OP you need to get out more Wink

Sparklingbrook · 15/07/2012 16:28

There aren't any in my nearest town.

PenisVanLesbian · 15/07/2012 17:34

I do too. Even when the children aren't with me. I care not.

CountvonViscount · 15/07/2012 21:31

Hooray!

OP posts:
germyrabbit · 15/07/2012 21:34

i may start doing this too

gallifrey · 15/07/2012 21:42

I do it all the time, I have a blue badge too so I'm spoilt for choice when I go shopping!

SmaugTheDragon · 17/07/2012 23:43

I think that people who deliberately park in spaces reserved for parents with children are just inconsiderate arseholes tbh. They don't exist so that parents with babies/children can be close to the shop, I think it's more to do with the fact that when you have a small child in a car seat, you need to have plenty of room around the car to 1) open the door wide so that you can 2) extract baby seat from car. I used to hate it when people parked so close to me I couldn't open the doors wide enough to get the baby seat in, or lean in to do up my toddler's seatbelt. Grrr.

Kleptronic · 17/07/2012 23:53

Coconutty, arf! Cunt Icon! NOW!

msrantsalot · 17/07/2012 23:53

yeah, why dont they make these spaces further from the door but wider? no brainer really..i mean parent and child..my children are 16 and 8, and shock...they can walk!! its only for folk that need to get the door open wide enough to put buggy/trolley next to car...if you want to be a lazy c*nt fair enuf...OMG is it raining! Heaven forbid you get your hair wet!

WorraLiberty · 17/07/2012 23:59

I don't even have a car and yet I regularly take up at least 2 P&C parking spaces by laying on the tarmac and rolling around.

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 18/07/2012 00:05

Where do you shop worra? That would make my bloody day!

Supermarket carparks are NOT dangerous by the way, no insurgents, wild animals, etc etc. Just in case anyone was worried.

WorraLiberty · 18/07/2012 00:07

If you're a Sainsburys security guard I errr....shop at Tescos!
