StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 18/07/2012 04:42

Hahaha Grin

Do people who fret about opening doors wide know that if you park at the back of the car park which I do as I hate bay parking my new car you have plenty of room, and it's only a minute walk to the shop or less

maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavour · 18/07/2012 05:04

worra people like you make me sick, rolling around in the p&c bays without children. What about us poor mums who want to use the bays to roll their children around in? You know just the other day I had to make do with letting my dc do roly polys in the loading bay Sad

You selfish fucker Sad

Grin
KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/07/2012 07:03

I bet you run onto easyjet flights too.

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 18/07/2012 12:34

Even the furthest reaches of the largest supermarket carparks are about a minutes walk. Can't believe people get so sweaty about parking by the doors!

WorraLiberty · 18/07/2012 12:36

You snooze - you lose.

Anyway, I had my goat with me.

Tiredmumno1 · 18/07/2012 12:42

Grin worra you have got me crying with laughter hahaha

ZonkedOut · 18/07/2012 12:43

I don't park there because it's closer, I park there because the bays are wider and I can't park and it's easier to get the kids out. It is also close to a footpath, so safer than having to walk through open car park, and is close to the area with the special child trolleys.

curiousgeorgie · 18/07/2012 13:19

If someone in Cheam sainsburys sees you, you'll get a £60 fine... That won't be too thrilling.

learnt the hard way

chattygirlneedsacuppa · 18/07/2012 13:34

Why don't they just make all parking bays wider? Then everyone can benefit and get out of their car without risking damaging the one next to it! Grin

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 18/07/2012 14:20

I can't park to save my life. It's much nicer going at the back away from the melee!

thebody · 18/07/2012 14:29

As an ex childminder with 4 small children every day!! If I can use a normal car space and have no trouble then I expect a mum with a Pfb can too...

Load of old bollocks, actually babies don't disintegrate in the rain and most new moms benefit from more fresh air and walking. Helps with happy endorphins!!!

Debeezandbirds · 18/07/2012 14:34

"babies don't disintegrate in the rain"

Shock
JimbosJetSet · 18/07/2012 14:38

OP, the next time you are in a regular parking spot because you are unable to park in a P&T space, I hope your car door doesn't get a nasty scrape or dent from the parent in the next space trying to open their door wide enough to get the car seat/toddler in or out (because they couldn't get a P&T space because of another idiot like you).

Its nothing to do with getting one's hair or baby wet.

MrsBethel · 18/07/2012 14:39
  1. They put the bays near a ticket machine, so you can leave the kids strapped in and keep an eye on your brood while paying.
  2. They mean toddlers don't have to cross a busy car park.
  3. The wide bays prevent other cars getting dinged.

So if you don't care about the probability of children getting hurt, and if you're the sort of person who 'keys' other peoples' cars for a laugh, then rock on. Cunt.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 18/07/2012 14:47

Hahaha reduce probability of children being hurt? My children have never crossed a car park without holding my hand and if they didn't they would be on reigns (and I don't care that they are 7 and 5)

Teach your children about safety in a car park and all is fine and dandy!
As I said above park at the far end of the car park, entry of space to open the doors.
And as for ticket machines, either leave them in the car strapped in their seats while you get a ticket, no 'keeping an eue' needed as they are strapped or take them with you and practise the walking safely in a car park.

And I'm pretty sure the OP was tongue in cheek!

CockyPants · 18/07/2012 14:48

Same as mrs bethel.
And here's a Biscuit for your ((!))

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 18/07/2012 14:48

Sorry about spelling I need to preview posts lol

Plenty not entry and eye not eue

ByTheWay1 · 18/07/2012 14:50

I used to sail close to the wind too - when we had toddlers we deliberately DIDN'T park in those spaces - thus taking up a non-disabled, toddlerless person's space....

I totally disagree with having "special" spaces for having kids with you. We never had trouble getting in or out - just park somewhere reasonable.... And I would never leave a child in the car whilst paying for parking anyhow - accidents happen - especially in car parks (low speed usually, but can still buckle the door enough to not be able to open it - cheers to the idiot who reversed into the side of hubby's car and pissed off!!!!)

thebody · 18/07/2012 14:52

Jimbos, get 4 children in and out of car daily, and double buggy,no dents,

World doesn't revolve around you just because you've got small children.

I also have 4 children if my own, get a bloody grip!!

JimbosJetSet · 18/07/2012 14:59

Crikey thebody I'm not sure I mentioned anywhere in my post about expecting the world to revolve around me. Or about me denting anyone's car. Congratulations on having four children, woo hoo. They must be causing you to have a bad day today.

CockyPants · 18/07/2012 15:00

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT...just me then...

maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavour · 18/07/2012 15:03

Babies don't disintegrate in the rain, but goats do

Worra, I knew you'd drip feed Sad I bet you got your goat for free didnt you? I have to pay for mine weekly at brighthouse

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 18/07/2012 15:05

Grin cockypants

thebody · 18/07/2012 15:08

Jimbo you are right they sure do.!!

However I was just pointing out that's it's perfectly easy to get a child out of a car without bashing the car next to you.

The comment about workd revolving around you sorry didn't mean that as personal to you just at the fact that some mums do seem to be very angry in this topic and so aggressive, re mrs Bethals cunt remark.

Owe u personally an apology though.

JimbosJetSet · 18/07/2012 15:11

Ah I see. Well in that case, thebody, I apologise also. I hope your day improves.
