... And now I can't get the grass stains out. He's colour blind so he can't see how much damage he's done. Should i just get his credit card and buy two more ( plus a present for me while I'm at it?)

Yes!

nickschick · 10/07/2012 09:39

DS3 cleaned his skateboard wheels on my laura ashley towel Angry....if you can afford 2 more and a gift then yes if not moan about it til payday Grin.

squeakytoy · 10/07/2012 09:40

it is a towel.. more fool you if you spend extortionate amounts of money so that you can have designer towels! Grin

put it on a hot wash with stain remover.. that will get grass stains out anyway

CasperGutman · 10/07/2012 09:41

White-green colourblindness isn't one I've come across. Unless it's an old, threadbare towel you've had for years and years, YANBU.

Latara · 10/07/2012 09:44

Vanish Oxy-Action is always good.

Buy your towels in Primark or Asda next time.

squeakytoy · 10/07/2012 09:45

is it actually a white towel, if so, then just bleach the thing!

greenbananas · 10/07/2012 09:45

Agree about hot wash and stain remover - that should get grass stains out.

Clearly your DH should have known better, but such is life... Maybe you could designate an old towel for your DH's golf clubs?

Mrsjay · 10/07/2012 09:46

Beat him with his golf clubs Grin It is a towel calm down and put it in some cold water and bleach

Treblesallround · 10/07/2012 09:47

Dye it green?

Anypointinseeingdoc · 10/07/2012 09:49

Leave the Bastard!

Try Ace stain remover, and some of that oxy stuff, but not together.

HellonHeels · 10/07/2012 09:51

Cheap towels are not nearly as nice to use or luxurious feeling. What's wrong with buying posh towels if you can afford them?

Perhaps your DH enjoys the luxury of having a posh golf towel :o Does he also strip down car engines in your sitting room?

Teamumizumi · 10/07/2012 09:51

It's a pale blue towel. Some of you are really mean. It was a wedding present so my aunt didn't think primark was appropriate in this instance.

Mrsjay · 10/07/2012 09:53

sorry didnt mean to be mean Blush I think the towel is gonner try some vanish spray and wash it again

nickschick · 10/07/2012 09:53

netmums probably have toweltrauma tickers

paradisechick · 10/07/2012 09:56

I obviously have capital letter blindness or a total lack of knowledge of posh towels. I thought you meant a white towel emblazoned with his company logo.

Katienana · 10/07/2012 10:01

YANBU, I have a nice towel that was a present and I don't let DH use it for drying him self after a shower, let alone using it to clean stuff!

Mrsjay · 10/07/2012 10:02

I have no clue what white company is

MousyMouse · 10/07/2012 10:04

so what, it's a towel not a china ornament in your front window.
put it in the wash, the stain will fade after a while.

NarcolepsyQueen · 10/07/2012 10:07

Leave the bastard. I luff The White Company

Chandon · 10/07/2012 10:09

yes.

White company towels are ACE

Haggisfish · 10/07/2012 10:14

OMG - people have towels 'for best and display'?! Wow.

squeakytoy · 10/07/2012 10:15

White Company is another Boden Paradise and MrsJay... Wink

ie over priced and bought purely because of its middle class image.. Grin

RIZZ0 · 10/07/2012 10:24

Hello, I'm collecting nominations for the "Most Middle Class Thread of the Year" award, and I think this one stand a jolly good chance, would you like to enter?

Grin
Mrsjay · 10/07/2012 10:26
