To be a bit off with DW after hen night and cp strippers...

Brief details: My DW was invited on hen night two weeks ago and there was talk of them seeing some stripper. TBH she was a bit unhappy about that part of the night as it's not really her thing at all.
I told her she should go as all her social group were going and the hen is one of her best friends.

Sorry just wrote a long reply and mumsnet went down. It's not going well this.
The main thing is just a few comments she has made since seeing the strippers that have got me a bit off balance.
First one was she rang at 1AM the night they were out and when i picked up the phone she started with OMG they had hugh willies. Ok i thought she's drunk and i guess you don't become a stripper if you are 'normal' size.
Few day later watching some crap on telly she just comes out with "when i think of the strippers they remind me of a horse having a pee" It was the" when i'm thinking of the strippers bit that annoys me a bit. There have been a few other things aswell.
I know i probably come across as a bit insecure and wounded male pride ect but i know if i went to a stag do and we went to a lap dancing club (never been by the way!) that if i rang home with God their bodies were so tight .. no cellulite ect.. and followed up with " when i'm thinking of the stripper we saw the other night..." i would be toast!!

It is helpful to keep in mind that to the strippers, it really is "just a job" (male or female).

It is IMO somewhat disrespectful of your DW to continue with comments if she knows it hurts your feelings. Does she know they do?

This is why couples (or more) have to be very clear on what they are happy for their partner(s) to indulge in.

Would you say that to a woman on here if the roles were reversed? It really is an eye opener when a man posts here about an issue that is usually a problem for women, i.e dh/dp saw strippers/went to lap dancing club. I'm only going on what I think and the people I know think OP, but I can honestly say that there's nothing less attractive than a muscley bloke up on a stage trying to be sexually alluring.

It's just such a preposterous thing to see (I accidently saw one once) it's laughable.

It sounds to me like your DW is trying to wind you up saying such things, why else would she ever bring the subject up again??

I would say that's how I can joke about a male stripper when I wouldn't about a woman feeling uncomfortable if her DH had been to see a female stripper, it's because the male strippers are just caricatures, I just can't see how anyone would find them attractive in the same way a man might appreciate a female stripper.

Have too say the few male strippers I have seen have been bloody hilarious. Zero turn on involved. Sexual desire on any level does not come into it for me.

If Im honest I have never seen a striper, Im in no way sexually opressed but I just would not be comfortable in that type of setting with friends, enjoying the view of a males body.

I think the experience of female strippers in clubs and male stage show strippers are very different too OP and the male and female experince of such shows are very different.

I would imagine that female, dancers strippers are far more erotic and a real fantacy for many men where the oposite is probably true for male show strippers.
