Shopping trip with Ma and Pa was a success!

As per Paggy's suggestion I found a pub/bar for lunch, bought Dad a Strongbow, he had a big screen telly with the news on a loop, - running subtitles. Last I heard was something like "the thing is not even the politicians know what the banks have done with the interest rates, now it used to be.........."

Mum and I slunk out and bought me this for my birthday. It is pictured onthe website with a man wearing it though - never mind, I love it anyway.

except DD had an asthma attack so I decided to take them both to the cinema. It was the first time I realised that my mum has started commenting on the action and talking sling with the characters ..... so we had things like "well your going to get your come uppence Missy!" all the way through.
It was mortifying and hilarious in equal measure.

Today I am feeling kind of alienated in an existentialist kind of way, but theat maybe because I haven't spoken to a real live human being in rl for days.
