Oh gawd fenton, that's not good.

Can't you go to the shops, deposit your dad at a cafe with a newspaper and a book and collect him an hour or so later?

Hullygully · 03/07/2012 11:03

Or, you could use my patented mum technique - get to the shops a bit later and head straight to a pub or decent eatery. Get them bit a bit pissed. Then go shopping.

Hullygully · 03/07/2012 11:06

Wot can I get dh for his bday?

And dd (who will be 14). Have to be orderable and portable...

I like that idea Pag, Mum doesn't drink but Dad will and he's the pain in the neck reluctant shopper.

Off to collect them now, will drag my heels a bit and go straight for lunch. Wink

UnicornRainbowLove · 03/07/2012 11:06

I'm here now. You can all relax.

ScrambledSmegs · 03/07/2012 11:07

Oh, I thought this was a reference to the klf song 'What time is love?'.

Hullygully · 03/07/2012 11:09

Oh Hully I have that dilema too, DP's birthday is tomorrow and I didn't get him anything yet

BrainSurgeon · 03/07/2012 11:16

Oh I know! I'll get DP a headlamp so he can read at night without bothering me too much. It's a win-win.
