To think Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts would be perfect if it weren't for the round coconutty ones?

All of the others I really like but what you get in a bag is totally hit and miss. I usually give those ones to dh and sometimes that's half a bag gone before I start

Yes the square ones. I peel them apart and eat the 'sugary' bit first (not actually sure what it is now I come to think of it)

But I save the liquorice bit til last, that's the best bit.

I hate the jelly-and-balls ones too. Best ones are the round ones that you can peel the liquorice off.

I don't like the coconut ones or the plain liquorice ones. My favourites are the little tubes with white stuff in and the cube sandwich ones. The rest can all fook off.

Yesterday I bought a bag which had no coconutty ones at all . Made my day it did. But is seems that this would be a big disappointment to many others.

We call the blue/pink aniseedy ones with little tiny balls on granny's hats, as all the elderly people used to wear hats just like them when I went to church as a kid .
