I know my chubsters only 5months (and 3 days lol), but after a few months of observing the behaviour of older kids, I just hope that my boy will grow up to be better behaved than alot of kids I see around. Sad Some boys today in the park, well I won't go in to it but, I would of been horrified if my one grew up to be as disrectful as that?
Am I wrong in thinking its time for a change and that all new mummies should take a pledge to bring up polite and caring kids as a kickback to this rude genneration that we have before us at the mo?

I promise to be the best mummie I can be
To reer my chubsters to the best of my ability
To not disregard signs
To always say thank you to Mario the ice cream vanman
To not bring dogs into playarea's
And most importantly, to become useful, well rounded members of their genneration
Amen.

Lol.

xDivAx · 26/06/2012 22:23

Hariboo? Priceless!

Why do these always start so late at night? I have to go to bed soon, but I shall now have to stay up a little longer. Just to, you know.......monitor! :o

TantrumsAndBalloons · 26/06/2012 22:24

Real life best friend? As opposed to imaginary best friend?

And she's old?

Mmm hmm

AnyoneForTennis · 26/06/2012 22:24

What's a 'LO'??

Are you from netmums??

Sparklingbrook · 26/06/2012 22:24

Real Life Best Friend Maura, possibly relative of Mario?

BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 26/06/2012 22:24

I'm bringing my child up to be feral.

Peeps will judge me either way, I figure this is the sure fire way to show that I don't give a fuck.

Grin

I suspect most of us have felt that way before the pfb could walk and talk. Then reality sets in...

Ps. I'll give you a great hint. Bribery is brilliant with children. It works wonders. I know you're never going to do it at present (or give them chocolate until they're 18) but times change...

TantrumsAndBalloons · 26/06/2012 22:25

I have no los.

Oh hang on you mean LO (little ones)

Ugh

sleepysox · 26/06/2012 22:25

Lo= little one, I presume?

I'm getting good at this- do I get a prize?

AnyoneForTennis · 26/06/2012 22:25

Carly tell us about the parents you mention in your title..

TantrumsAndBalloons · 26/06/2012 22:26

I like feral.
My DCs are feral.

But they can spell.
And always say thank you to Mario the ice cream vanman

sleepysox · 26/06/2012 22:27

I wish mn had a 'like' button!

LucieMay · 26/06/2012 22:27

I think when you have lovely little cute kiddies, it's easier to criticise older ones. At six, my ds is still lovely and little and snuggly and sometimes I look in horror at older teenage boys who are all loud and lairy and think to myself what a fab parent I am. Then I give myself a mental slap and think that in ten years, I'll probably have one of those creatures!

carlysreducingtummy · 26/06/2012 22:27

Not she's not a relation of Mario, but she "knew" ( in the Bible sense) the father of the lad who runs the hotdawg kiosk. True.

CurrySpice · 26/06/2012 22:28

I don't know where to start with that OP but I do look forward to hearing some of your pearls of parenting wisdom :o

Sparklingbrook · 26/06/2012 22:29
