To think that we should give the Faulklands back to Argentina?

Ok I don't know much about the Falklands war but from what I can gather we stole them from Argentina. I think we should give them back but of course it's complicated.
Can anyone fill me in on why Britain took them in the first place? Thanks.

Spain can have Gibralter back if they like, but we are hanging onto Gibraltar (sorry, couldnt resist!)

I think that actually they too want to be British and if they do then we should defend them.

I'm sure that the British owned part of France in the Middle Ages, including Calais... because the Normans became British by invading us. But i also think that the Normans actually invaded Normandy from Norway or Germany first... so maybe we could invade both of those countries too.
(I'm going to have to google this tomorrow just to get my facts straight..)

Oh yes, & Argentina. Men from there are fit. We could invade disguised as tourists - German tourists obviously. (i think British ships & planes are currently banned from Argentina.)
