I'm a ketchup girl. However I nearly left DP when he came back from the kebab shop with a felafel wrap with ketchup in it.

You are all mad, mint sauce on Chips is ace. Seriously try it.

Mint sauce on Kebabs is amazing. Especially if it's a yogurt and mint sauce.

Get chippy chips, put in nice big cob, soak with a litre or two of vinegar, trowel on the salt, ketchup and braaawn sauce on the side to dippy. From the fridge mind you, to cool the chips down if too hot m'kay.

Alternatively, salad cream to dip but no vinegar or salt.

I wants chips now.

I think my tastes might be a bit cosmopolitan compared to you common lot as I like mayo with my chips.

I used to live near a chippy in the north east that did fab garlic sauce on chips.

Mayo on Chippy chips is wrong. Mayo on pub chips is right.

Does anyone else sometimes wonder what all the stuff in the chippy fryer is? Obviously I can spot the fish and the battered sausages. But then there are other battered things, normally round and I've never had them as I don't know what to ask for. Are they burgers, fritters, scallops. There are different piles of slightly different sized round things.

Do you really want to know how gravy is made? It's all the black stuff that builds up in the oil!! It's all scraped out wen the oil is changed and mixed with other ingredients to make it. I bet they don't change the oil on a Sunday! Never eat gravy from these places! Yuck!
