poor Kai Rooney has been pictured sipping a can of diet coke...

Does anyone actually think this is ok?! What was Coleen thinking? Silly girl.

OP posts:
JustFab · 26/05/2012 19:53

Why is he "poor Kai"?

Salmotrutta · 26/05/2012 19:55

He's "poor Kai" because his Mum is apparently an idiot.
Because the OP says so.

EclecticShock · 26/05/2012 19:55

He's 2.5, same age and Kai Rooney.

usualsuspect · 26/05/2012 19:55

The OP is the fizzy pop police

Springforward · 26/05/2012 19:56

I buy the low-sugar Fruit Shoots for day trips out, too. I really don't see the problem apart from being judged by mums whose kids never drink anything but water.

Everything in moderation, no?

PennieDreadful · 26/05/2012 19:57

This is about the fifth hysterical post from the OP I've seen on matters relating to feeding small humans. Calm down dear. Go and have a fag or something.

Emmielu · 26/05/2012 19:57

Funny you say that actually. Today my friends 5yo was drinking some of his mums coke from a bottle. This discussion came up & my friend said at least he's not sniffing coke.....5yo started sniffing the bottle. Hmm was funny and ironic at the time.

LapsedPacifist · 26/05/2012 19:57

NOW I'm shocked! Shock The OP regards a footballer's wife as a role model?

TalHotBlond · 26/05/2012 19:58

My two yet old had a pint of lager over lunch earlier.

Not really.

TalHotBlond · 26/05/2012 20:00

year

[obviously an idiot]

JoannaFight · 26/05/2012 20:00

Of course if it had a shot of rum in it...Wink

Salmotrutta · 26/05/2012 20:01

Was the not really lager to wash down the Greggs sausage roll?

SauvignonBlanche · 26/05/2012 20:02

I don't know her so can't judge, unlike OP.

fullofregrets · 26/05/2012 20:02

My nearly three year old loves diet coke. Mostly he drinks milk and squash but if we are out he will swipe some of my diet coke. I'm not wild about him drinking it but I don't think the odd sip will kill him.
It is rubbish though, probably I shouldnt drink it either, apparently the people that work for diet coke won't touch it!

Northernlurker · 26/05/2012 20:03

I drink a can of coke for my break at work. My colleague has full sugar ribena. We compared the sugar content and it's the same. And yet nobody would get the knickers ina twist over Rooney junior swigging Ribena would they?

reddaisy · 26/05/2012 20:03

I wouldn't do it.

MarySA · 26/05/2012 20:04

Can't see it will do any harm once in a while. Not keen on those wag types but she seems a good mother from what I've seen of her.

TalHotBlond · 26/05/2012 20:05

Well I couldn't bring myself to give him a fruit shoot, those things are full of sugar.

Salmotrutta · 26/05/2012 20:05

If the OP had been around when I was --dragging bringing up my two she may well have fainted from shock and upset.

I used to give them juice ... it was OK though because it was Robinson's Barley water and obviously dead healthy and stuff.

It was still legal back in the day ... before the Juice Police were founded.

Birdsgottafly · 26/05/2012 20:05

Perhaps they are trying to get the sponsership deal back, that Wayne lost when he visited prostitutes, again?

Wayne and his siblings were probably raised on much worse, it didn't do them any harm, physically, speaking.

startail · 26/05/2012 20:05

DH was an idiot, he let DD2 have some of his Coke, when she was little.

Now she wants to share mineAngry

Salmotrutta · 26/05/2012 20:05

Should have read as dragging Hmm

bunnybabylon · 26/05/2012 20:07

pretty stupid to give any kid coke of any kind at that age.

Vizzini · 26/05/2012 20:07

My 2 year old loves coffee. When she was about 1.5 she asked to try mine. I thought she'd hate it and never ask again so I let her sip it. Turns out it's like nectar to her .
Now I let her have a sip of mine if she asks (she especially loves the chilled Starbucks caramel lattes you can buy in the supermarket). I have to hold it while she sips or she'd neck it. I'm obviously a terrible mother.

Salmotrutta · 26/05/2012 20:07

Leave your DH startail - that's awful.
