to be hacked off with the new parking policy at our ASDA

It costs 50p to park there for 3 hours, money returned with your receipt etc etc... But now the machines no longer take 10 or 5ps, so basically you have to have a 50p coin or overpay, which is blatantly what they're aiming for. Moneygrabbing bastards

It annoys me when they charge to park near the ocean. Some people may have never seen the ocean. It isn't fair.

It's like making sure you have a pound coin for the trolley at Morrisons though. Make sure you have a 50p! :)

Do they give you a fifty pence coin when you leave, or just deduct 50p off your bill? In which case it is a PITA, because at least with the trolley £1 coin, you can just leave a permanent £1 coin somewhere in the glovebox ready.

Ours just stopped doing this - it was £1. Now you can't get bloody parked there - it's right by the sea!

Write 'I owe you 50p' on a little piece of paper and force it into the coin slot. Watch the bastard thing figure that out.

My asda has free parking but they do charge 5p per carrier bag. (I'm in Wales and every shop charges 5p per bag now)
