Because it is is WRONG and more than a bit boaky?

FFS you're only saving about 0.00001 of a second by spelling a four-letter word with three letters. Saving 0.00001 of a second and making yourself look a fool.

AIBU?

No I am not thanks for agreeing.

YABU. Unless they are actually talking about spunk, but even then its a boaky word

5inthebed · 10/05/2012 14:57

YANBU, I even a little reading your title it makes me that sick.

EmptyBotheredPocket · 10/05/2012 14:58

Yanbu

TalcAndTurnips · 10/05/2012 14:58

Buppers - do you mean in general, or just in a porny sort of fashion, when describing the moment of orgasm during sectional interludes?

RichTeaAreCrap · 10/05/2012 14:58

YANBU it pisses me right off. Infact I cringe when I see it. I always think it's a 12 year old boy if i see it written anywhere. Most of the time it isn't.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 10/05/2012 14:58

YANBU, that spelling makes me cringe, no one over the age of 14 should use that spelling.

I am very old and I hate all text speak thoughGrin

CaptainHetty · 10/05/2012 14:58

No, I hate it as well.

catgirl1976 · 10/05/2012 14:58

I meant YANBU. My day is rubbish

TalcAndTurnips · 10/05/2012 14:59

I think Noddy Holder and Slade have a lot to answer for.

YANBU. I don't like the trend for mispelling words, even though it saves a few seconds.

What do you mean by "boaky"? I've never heard that before.

Ministrone · 10/05/2012 15:01

It's de rigeur isn't it?

Lovelynewboots · 10/05/2012 15:01

BupcakesandCunting · 10/05/2012 15:02

I will never forget, until the day I die, when I was reading a story written by a friend of mine. We were 13 or 14. It was fanfiction. Porny fanfiction.

Her mother walked into the room just as I said 'You've spelled come wrong all through this.'

Mother was not amused. Friend furious at me.

Good times.

[Tee hasn't been that naive in a very very long time emoticon]

Lovelynewboots · 10/05/2012 15:03

hun

FaceForRadio · 10/05/2012 15:03

cum on, nowt rong wif missin out fings

Yes, it drives me up the wall!

SecretNutellaFix · 10/05/2012 15:06

Bupcakes- maybe you should reply with

I really hope you aren't going to orgasm when you visit, I didn't realise we had that sort of relationship

Sparklingbrook · 10/05/2012 15:09

YANBU, I don't want people to 'cum round my house'.

TalcAndTurnips · 10/05/2012 15:10

GOOD GOD Buppers - do people really do this?

I'd heard of it in the erotique fiction sense, but not in normal everyday writing. (Apart from as I said).

I am beyond appalled. There should be some sort of Borstal for these types. Hanging's too good for them.

YANBU I dont want too many people cumming round my house Smile

nemno · 10/05/2012 15:16

If this is part of text speak then I simply wish to bow out, it is not part of my world.

But my husband and I were being old geezers last night and remembering how tortuous typing used to be. It was really difficult to produce say an A4 size piece without the shame of two or more tipex blemishes (and of course you had to correct, leaving a mistake was unthinkable). In an era now when it should be the easiest thing in the world to produce clean and correct documents there are darn few about.

Empusa · 10/05/2012 15:17

YANBU at all! It's a bit sick provoking isn't it?

ripsishere · 10/05/2012 15:20

But how did cum become the way of spelling jizz?

LeBOF · 10/05/2012 15:24

I agree. I physically shudder when my mum, who has never got to grips with predictive text, types that she "will cum later". It is wrong in every way.

Superduperdoo · 10/05/2012 15:32

I can just about cope with people who use cum instead of come although it does sound rather rude. However, people who use hum instead of home make me very stabby! Even thinking about it is causing my blood pressure to rise.
