out of the people i know, the working class ones have spotless homes.

the middleclass ones seem alot more messier and nowhere near as spick and span.
they also tend to dress their children in odd socks etc.

anyone else noticed this?

i actually think there is alot of truth in the OP if my family is anything to go by. I have obviously moved up a class as my house is a shitheap and the family start wiping down my sides if they visit

depends why they are unemployed, if they are the sort that actually don't want to work, they probably have v messy homes.

I'm so glad we have you to clarify all this for us OP. Class explains perfectly why some have messy houses and some don't. No other factors need to be considered.

Actually on reassessment of the shite scattered around my house I am positively upper class-that is going to be my excuse now. If my house too clean then I will be working class and how awful that would be Darling.
