is fucking ridiculous - as I told the bloke on the door who was pointing to a sign as he stopped me from going in. Of course I didn't bother on principal.

It was in Spitalfields this afternoon and I noticed a few shops down another which was advertising 'free entry'.

Also the assistant in another shop who wouldn't let me and DD go in changing room together 'because thats the rules', also pissed me off and the guy in the curry cafe, after we had eaten a slap up meal just couldn't provide a half protion of biryani to take away - they only do a normal sized portion.

Grrrrrrr

Tee2072 · 07/05/2012 16:27

Yeah. Won't shop there then. That's insane.

TalHotBlond · 07/05/2012 16:32

That's unbelievable! Mind you, I feel the same about paying to go into nightclubs where I will be buying drinks all night too (I'm a bit tight). What shop was it?

TidyDancer · 07/05/2012 16:33

Which shop was it?

Runoutofideas · 07/05/2012 16:33

I feel the same about paying for a NEXT directory!

SirSugar · 07/05/2012 16:34

It looked like one of those 'pop up' type shops with loads of designery stuff but I didn't spend too much time looking after the bouncer stopped me I was just so fucking annoyed I told DD come on let go and walked off quickly before I lost the plot

how bizzare

TheHouseOnTheCorner · 07/05/2012 16:37

I suppose it's to sort the gawpers from the serious shoppers....out of interest why did you want a half portion of biryani to go if you'd just scoffed?

RightUpMyRue · 07/05/2012 16:37

Don't worry Spitalfields, Portobello and all the other jumble sales vintage markets out there will soon have disappeared up their own arses so we won't have to endure the pretentious eejits anymore.

Bestb411pm · 07/05/2012 16:37

Good on you, I can't believe anyone would pay, well unless the clothes danced Mary poppies style around the room.

Was it busy in there? Just wondering if I have few enough morals to follow that business plan?

SirSugar · 07/05/2012 16:38

half a portion for DDs lunch tomorrow

Bestb411pm · 07/05/2012 16:38
