I am going to clean up puke and sigh while looking longingly at the fabled land of Outside. WOE. Pestilential bloody toddlers.

shaka12003 · 05/05/2012 10:14

dp is working today but we are both off sunday and monday so big treat tommorow we are taking the dcs to legoland

Taffeta · 05/05/2012 11:25

All ofF to friends this afternoon for much food, wine and merriment. Our DDs will play together and DS will watch the FA cup final whilst we quaff wine and natter. Bliss.

Tomorrow is football and cricket for DS, weather permitting.

Monday we may go for a bike ride if its not raining, and I need to mow the lawn and weed. If its raining, a spot of work, some baking, ironing and Ice Age 3 on DVD for the DC.

Used to the rain on bank holidays, but it soooo cold!

DaisyMaisyJessicaEmily · 05/05/2012 12:13

Not a Bank Holiday weekend in Scotland :(

salemsparklys · 05/05/2012 12:19

DH and DC dont have it off so same as every other weekend and Monday

moogalicious · 05/05/2012 12:22

I'm meeting my friend for shopping and dinner in a couple of hours, followed by a night out and I'm not going home until tomorrow early afternoon so there! Sunday will be spend lying on the sofa nursing my hangover.

Might do something with the family Monday, probably a dog walk or something.

moogalicious · 05/05/2012 12:22

spent

Gumby · 05/05/2012 12:24

Working this afternoon
Tomorrow got opticians and then going out with the girls in the evening, dh is taking kids swimming too I think
Monday -hangover day and possible family walk

noisytoys · 05/05/2012 15:04

Celebrating my baby girls 4th birthday (I dont feel old enough to have a 4 year old) and taking her to Beauty and the Beast 3D

racingheart · 05/05/2012 15:32

We have a houseful of children making a movie on an i-pod. They've been at it for hours, dressing up and writing scripts. DH and I just hide, then occasionally emerge to feed them cake. It's great.

Tomorrow DS1 has a sports tournament all day and I'm taking DS2 to see Damien Hirst (bribed him with pic of diamond skull.)

Monday I'm working. :(

ledkr · 05/05/2012 16:21

Im like others and am on my own cos dh is working. I was a single parent for years and actually find it more lonely now because i stupidly dont plan for it like when i was on my own.
Bh used to be a lie in friends round for lunch and about 20 bottles of wine whilst the kids all played together.
This weekend its up at 5 courtesy of larkish baby, today dancing run then footy in a bit whilst dressing up dd to go to a fancy dress party at 6.
Then its voice and wine for me.
Tomorrow i managed to wangle a lunch invite then may have afew drinks with a friend.
Monday more dance practice so then may wander into town with girls and buy shoes for school then a spot of lunch.

Debeez · 05/05/2012 16:33

So far we've had a stomach bug and an emergency vets visit (for the cat not DS with the Stomach bug). Crafts, Dvd's and lounging for us as we're now £60 down and ill.

laughlovelife · 05/05/2012 17:56

depends on the weather.

Bad = new Starwars lll lego xbox game, with make yourself a pizza (lunch) and swimming with sunday dinner to come back too.

Good= day at the beach, wooden forest, beamish hall and pub meal, then hand and feet paintings.

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 05/05/2012 18:24

Paperwork for childminding and a snooze on Saturday. Fish and chips at Hayling Island on Sunday. Probably mooch around the house on Monday doing more paperwork and some housework.

badtasteflump · 05/05/2012 18:36

Is nobody else planning to do as little as possible like I am?

The weather so far has been cack, so apart from a fun trip to Tesco, we've done nadda apart from faff around at home. If the sun doesn't appear tomorrow or Monday we will be eating/watching films/playing the Wii.

And my DC don't even mind - which probably makes it worse Smile

DilysPrice · 05/05/2012 19:18

We went to the Canal Cavalcade and there was a creepy crawlies show at the Floating Classroom and the DCs cuddled Geoff the Chameleon who is a true star. Now for Voice and Wine.

broadsheetbabe · 05/05/2012 20:17

Ahoy there! We're off to Brixham Pirate Festival tomorrow to join the attempt to create a 'mile of pirates' around the harbour!

Today, DH and DS2 went to watch their beloved Exeter City FC relegated.

DH is working on Monday, so it's off to the beach hut with DS2 come rain or shine Brew

Ambi · 05/05/2012 22:30

Thomas the tank engine was really good. If you're in the NW and have small children / thomas fans. He's in Bury this weekend at the East Lancs Railway.

piellabakewell · 05/05/2012 23:08

I will be wishing DD1 was home so we could all be together.

Still don't know what we will do...DD2 has a poorly toe so nothing very energetic.

BorisJohnsonsHair · 05/05/2012 23:15

slippers I think we should get together. My DH also works every bank holiday, and I have a 15 yr old and a 9 yr old too. I never know what to do with them, particuarly if the weather's bad (which is looking likely). It will probably be a quick walk in the morning (if it's not too wet) followed by indoor picnic lunch and a game of Monopoly .......

DD should will be revising for her GCSEs so it will probably be just me and DS anyway.

kipperandtiger · 06/05/2012 00:24

A joint Sunday lunch with my best friend and her family. It's as good as an outing or museum - her grown up DSs have a brilliant Lego set they've kept, some old toy planes, and we're bringing our remote control racing car which her DH enjoys having a turn on as well. No queues, no entry fees. Looking forward to it.
