Absolutely disgusted at the way I have been treated, will be making this as public as I can... came here with a real problem, have been accused of being a liar and basically being bullied... cannot believe this site is still here!

Oh - and finally, no, you can't get mumsnet shut down!! If you did, I would have to find something else to do with my days - and I might have to do some housework. Would you want that on your conscience? Would you???

I am just sitting here musing about what kind of person's first reaction to this kind of thing is to think they can single-handedly get an enormous and well-established internet forum shut down.

Most of us are nice!! I'd say stick with it but if you really feel you can't then you're probably better off getting some support from "real" people (if you know what I mean). I think mumsnet is no different to any other internet site, some of the facebook pages I frequent make this page look like a walk in a park! There will always be some idiots but hopefully the nice ones outweigh the nasty ones (I'd outweigh three or four of them put together probably! )

I don't know if I'll have time to read all of this thread, but I just want to say to the OP -
You were not being unreasonable on your first thread.
You are not unreasonable to feel bullied.
You are not unreasonable to want to keep your name as it is and stay on these threads.

You've admitted to an overreaction - why can't people just accept the apology?
Why should you have to avoid ABIU?
It seems to me that certain posters seem to feel that they are the AIBU council, and declare who is witty enough/hard skinned enough/been in the club long enough to be allowed to stay here...

i would just like to say, if i may do so, i didnt suggest op went to another part of mn to police her, i genuinely thought it would be the best in terms of getting real and specialised support
