I went to Skeg once. And survived. I remember v little. There was a static caravan park with a bmx track and a shop named Rendezvous which sold herbs and awesome (pron. ossum) gingerbread. I've blocked the rest out.

I haven't read all this thread, or all the feel hard done by one, but was on the thread you have hinted at 'bullying' you about your OP on.

1 person suspected you were another poster. I said I didn't think so, another poster said you appeared genuine. The rest of the discussion was about other things, you will find on MN 3/4 conversations can happen on 1 thread simultanously. Don't assume everyone is talking about you - remember how many members MN has - your not gonna figure as important.

I'm sorry you had a rough ride. But some useful advice. Don't see what you want to see here on MN, see, read and digest all the posts. If you have a negative attitude you can misread posts negatively.

Secondly, I have had a look at the other thread, and CrystalMaize's posts have been deleted, so I can't see the problematic/nasty posts - but I hope you will be able to go back to that thread and see the supportive posts that are there - it certainly sounds as if you need a place to vent/shoulder to lean on at the moment - you are having a really tough time.

I hope that you carry on posting here - by and large, mumsnet is a great place, and full of intelligent, funny, supportive, caring people. And sweariness (which is a good thing too, I think - sometimes only sweary words will do, I think).
