Troll Hunters do more damage than trolls and need to get their heads out of their arses.

I saw the 15 year old one and knew it was a troll. I did not, however, feel the need to dig out my pitchfork and burning torch.

I think it's boring and disappointing that some arseholes tramp all over AIBU, taking over every thread and constantly calling 'troll'.

Boring because... well it's boring.

Disappointing because I used to have so much more of a laugh on here with silly threads and, yes, even in jokes. Have wet my pants many a time! But it's become so insufferable and so controlled by a few gobshites that I can't be bothered anymore and I'm sure other long-time posters feel the same.

Personally I think it's fine to make a troll comment when it's bloody obvious and if the troll is saying something outrageous or offensive or ridiculous, if not - and you can't be sure - why say it?

Might i suggest that instead of blatant troll hunting on threads, those with suspicions simply send this discrete link to the suspect and say no more on the matter.

I saw the thread where the troll hunting posse decided to use hunning, hugz and txtspk to signify to each other that they believed an op to be trolling. I have read many of your posts and I know you to be an intelligent and articulate poster who writes in full sentences. So was that ^ not a classic definition of troll hunting?

Mary, no you are right, I know you can't do (2) but I suppose what I mean is at least for the period of time that that post stands (before MNHQ get wind of it) other posters see exactly what the Troll Hunter means and it will stop the "what do you mean" "PM Me" and all the in-speak hunning, hugging and lolling instead of just being blunt and up front about it.
