I am utter unimpressed with the parent who decided to take 3 toddlers on scooters out this afternoon couplde with a buggy the size of a Landrover so she had absolutely no chance of holding them close.

Where is the consideration?

Where?

Where?

I am an Angry bunny.

Gumby · 06/04/2012 17:20

It's different cos it's Friday Grin

MrsEasterChickLegs · 06/04/2012 17:20

ChristIsTrulyRisen · 06/04/2012 17:22

Phew, I thought you meant mobility scooters. Thought a bunfight was imminent.

YANBU-what is it with those little scooters everywhere? Can a child not walk? I notice a lot of parents like to carry the scooters for some reason. Confused

SuePurblybiltFromChocolate · 06/04/2012 17:24

Longing to live in Chaosland, just for a day [buwink]

YANBU at all, how very rude and selfish. We scoot to school and That is That.

Sparklingbunnyears · 06/04/2012 17:24

I thought it was Saturday all day today. It was murder in Morrisons earlier.

MrsHeffley · 06/04/2012 17:26

God I soooooo hear you.

We get them on a packed busy city high street,dd had to jump out of the way narrowly avoiding jumping in front of a bus recently. I've dodged them in shops too.

Said scooter kids are always Tarquin types.

The utter selfishness, rudeness and laziness is just beyond me.

lesley33 · 06/04/2012 17:26

I thought you mean't mobility scooters too and clicked on the post expecting a bun fight.
But OP YANBU - some people have no consideration for others unfortunately.

ChristIsTrulyRisen · 06/04/2012 17:26

Sparkling I friffing love you.

See? It feels like Saturday.

I will request that my minions resolve this problem for you forthwith.

MrsDeeBee · 06/04/2012 17:28

I was sensible and went shopping yesterday. Very rare for me.

Doesn't stop the fact that I have spent all day thinking today is Saturday.

How very annoying.

Jusfloatingby · 06/04/2012 17:28

I get really annoyed with idiot parents who let their kids bring scooters into busy crowded places or allow them fly up the road on them with pedestrians having to jump out of the way.

PurpleRomanesco · 06/04/2012 17:29

Don't scare me like that! I thought I had gotten my days mixed up. I have so much to do tomorrow...

YANBU by the by. bugrin

PurpleRomanesco · 06/04/2012 17:29

[bugrin] Whoops.

SarahStrattonsEasterName · 06/04/2012 17:30

I thought it was too. I was looking forward to chocolate tomorrow. [busad]

And I bloody hate those scooters. Hate em. What's wrong with walking ffs.

Sparklingbunnyears · 06/04/2012 17:33

Well Wilkos and Morrisons appeared to be all out of Easter Eggs this morning. No shortage in Thorntons though. Grin

I can't imagine pushing a buggy and having 3 children on scooters round the shops.Sad

TheCunningStunt · 06/04/2012 17:36

"I am an Angry bunny"

Noooo this is an angry bunny [buangry] [bugrin]

MrsDeeBee · 06/04/2012 17:38

I would imagine maybe it's so the little darlings don't get tired and whine "I'mmmmmmmmmm tiredddddddddddddddddddddd". And whinge and whine to be picked up. And you can't get a buggyboard for 3 !

Imagine the stress she may have been under when the little darlings did get tired and she had to try to push one and carry 3 scooters and encourage them to walk to the car/home.

I am willing the days away atm and I am very cross that I now have to add a day. PpppppppppppppppppppppffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffttttttttttttttttttttttttttT.

Eglu · 06/04/2012 17:39

I would have thought a shopping centre would have had rules on that. They certainly usually have signs saying no skateboards and scooters are similar.

SarahStrattonsEasterName · 06/04/2012 17:42

Hate the bloody things [buangry]

TuftyFinch · 06/04/2012 17:42

I think all the shops in the world should be shut because of Jesus.

Raahh · 06/04/2012 17:46

startail · 06/04/2012 17:51

UANBU
I can not work out why small children on scooters are ok, but teens on roller scares or skate boards wouldn't be.
This is despite the fact that the teens would, almost certainly, be a lot more in control and not crash into you.

glenthebattleostrich · 06/04/2012 17:53

A woman tutted at me today because I dared to complain about her little darlings riding scooters in our local Co-op.

Have to say how much I'm loving the bunnies [buwink] [bubiscuit] [buconfused]
