in disliking George Galloway

Just seen him on the news, he strikes me as an opportunistic slimy bully but maybe I misunderstand him and he really is a good guy on the side of the oppressed. Please can someone enlighten me if my dislike is mislplaced.

Never could stand the man. Very irritated to see he'll be back in the public eye again.
He creeps me out. He's horrible.

YANBU. GG's appearance on that infamous Celebrity Big Brother showed what a self-aggrandising amoral egomaniac the man is. [Although this behaviour in a politician is probably as surprising as the Pope being a bit of a Catholic etc.]. GG's shameless grovelling to numerous middle eastern dictators + cultivation of UK Moslem communities is his ticket back to Parliament - to further his own interests rather than theirs.
