Just seen him on the news, he strikes me as an opportunistic slimy bully but maybe I misunderstand him and he really is a good guy on the side of the oppressed. Please can someone enlighten me if my dislike is mislplaced.

YANBU - He was a crap MP for Tower Hamlets and I predict he'll be a crap MP for Bradford.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 30/03/2012 12:54

No, Dinah, you're not the only one.

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 12:59

Most designed-to-make-me-froth Questiontime panel ever would be:

George Galloway
Katie Hopkins
John Redwood
Danny Alexander
Theresa May

Indiestarr · 30/03/2012 13:47

Oooh, I'd second that list LineRunner although I'd want to add Peter Hitchins to really get the blood boiling

CogitoErgoSometimes · 30/03/2012 13:49

Tag on David Starkey and Nick Griffin? (Griffiths? Griffin? That idiot BNP bloke whoever he is) and no TV screen would be safe....

EasyOnTheChips · 30/03/2012 13:58

John Redwood is though

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 15:07

Ooh thanks for linking that, EasyOnTheChips. I was describing the Redwood Welsh national anthem debacle to the DCs last week - now I can show them the full glory!

EasyOnTheChips · 30/03/2012 15:12

None more Mr Bean.

I couldn't watch that "comedy" routine but I can watch poor old stupid John all day long. Hahaha!

uruculager · 30/03/2012 15:18

I thought it was quite funny that he described his election as a "Bradford Spring" in light of his lavish praise of the Syrian dictator Assad.

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 15:20

I only just saw his victory speech on the news. Galloway appears unhinged.

porcamiseria · 30/03/2012 15:53

i cant forgive him for the cat incident on celeb bb

wrong worng wrong and wronger

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 16:48

I didn't watch it. Just having it described was bad enough.

IwoulddoDrWho · 30/03/2012 17:41

Now having celebratory trip round Bradford in open-top bus.

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 17:42

I heard he had eggs thrown at him?

IwoulddoDrWho · 30/03/2012 17:43

George Galloway is a twat

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 17:53

"Mr Galloway, who was not hit, said it was too early for protests."

IwoulddoDrWho · 30/03/2012 18:04

Twat

LineRunner · 30/03/2012 18:41

Bradford wanted democracy, and George Galloway gave it to them good and hard.

To paraphrase.

Geranium3 · 30/03/2012 19:56

utter twunt with a massive ego!

TiggyD · 30/03/2012 20:01

Nobody likes him. Some people think he's useful, but nobody actually likes him.

DinahMoHum · 30/03/2012 20:03

LOADS of people love him, what are you talking about?

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 30/03/2012 20:07

I like him.

Starwisher · 02/04/2012 21:54

George gives me the creeps big time
Something not right about him

TheCrackFox · 02/04/2012 22:08

I was stunned that he had been elected as an MP for Bradfird as the last I heard was that he was trying to get elected as an MSP.

He lasted one term as an MP for Tower Hamlets which indicates that he wasn't all that great.
