To think Tesco Finest Ready Meals are Rubbish

I should have learned my lesson with these by now. But again at the weekend I bought another ready made meal from Tesco Finest range thinking - oh that looks nice. But it wasn't. Every single one I have ever had has that false ready meal taste that is horrible. I had to promise my DP to never buy Tesco Finest again and to stick to M & S ready made meals instead, which are far nicer, taste of the actual ingredients and are the same type of price.

So AIBU?

Gwawrt seems to have revived this thread, possibly in an attempt to put positive message about Tesco products out there, in what is a troubled time for this supermarket.

Gwarwt, your review sounds almost too slick to be a "normal" MN-er speaking Grin , are you a marketing writer? It sounded so....professional.

Glad you found a dish you liked though.

I only ever buy Charlie Bigham (Waitrose) or M&S . Tesco ready meals are a bit grim IMO

Salmon steak is best when pan fried in a bit of butter or oil. 5-10 mins

YABVU. I had Tesco Finest Chicken Korma last night and it was yummy (and highly calorific!).

Co-op beef stroganoff is excellent. A bit pricey mind you. The Morrisons version is much the same. Probably all comes from the same factory.
