YABU but only because I'm not sure I would have passed, if I could then YANBU

joanofarchitrave · 25/03/2012 21:37

As long as it doesn't include that maths question in the 'things you're amazed people don't know' thread Blush

Actually, it probably should.

It doesn't have to be an academic test. Check for presence sense of humour and being able to spot irony maybe. Empathy and compassion test?

YABU because there is no need.

Anyone can enter but the faint of heart (and mind) run away fairly quickly.

CarpeJugulum · 25/03/2012 21:40

Identify the odd one out and give your reasoning:

  1. Fruit shoot
  2. Greggs sausage roll
  3. Homemade lentil soup with whole meal bread.
picnicbasketcase · 25/03/2012 21:41

YABU - what would the pedants do without all the 'should of's to complain about? And anyway, everyone likes to get irate about someone else's fuckwittery once in a while. AIBU is a prime example.

Sparklingbrook · 25/03/2012 21:41

Like your questions Stranded. Grin

Goawaybob · 25/03/2012 21:41

Well, i'd fail thats for sure - was pretty much told to only post in AIBU by the feminists for daring to disagree with something

southeastastra · 25/03/2012 21:42

i'd ban everyone who uses aibu alot

Sparklingbrook · 25/03/2012 21:43

This is a lighthearted AIBU thread-it could go either way couldn't it?

OP posts:
TheSurgeonsMate · 25/03/2012 21:46

It does!

Sparklingbrook · 25/03/2012 21:46

Maybe there could be a practical exam too. Grin

Calamityboo · 25/03/2012 21:47

You could also ask which witch is which? Also explain the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit Grin

Sparklingbrook · 25/03/2012 21:48

Oh yes Surgeons, didn't check threads from last year. I am a doofus. Grin

BIWI · 25/03/2012 21:49

A spelling test would be brilliant

SparkyMcSparrow · 25/03/2012 21:51

I have spell checker for spelling Grin

bibbityisaporker · 25/03/2012 21:58

I would be happy if people just had to check two tick boxes before being allowed in:

Do you promise to never ask a teaser question in your thread title?

(see the current Is it possible for your stomach to thread in active convos)

and

Do you promise to never post are you being unreasonable to ask something rather than to think or do something in AIBU?

Sparklingbrook · 25/03/2012 22:03

Can I add 'If you think you may be 'with child' just POAS and find out.

If you think you or your family think they may be really properly poorly then go to the doctors.

MissLofPubia · 25/03/2012 22:07

YANBU. If you fail the exam you should be exiled to Netmums! (I'd probably fail :-( ) [Insert twinkly faces here]

Hattie23 · 25/03/2012 22:08

3 - soup and bread

Did I pass?
Am I allowed in?

thegreylady · 25/03/2012 22:52

No you didn't give your reasons :-)

YABU

There should not be an entrance exam.

There should be an exam after your 500th post, to see if you have been paying attention. :o

Pendeen · 25/03/2012 23:29

YANBU.

Now, how do you set about achieving this?
