To check people aren't complete doofuses before they post? Just a thought. Grin

YADNBU.

MNHQ should be able to do a thorough search of your internet history, and if you have ever intentionally used 'lol' 'LOL' or any variants thereof, in a non ironic way, an automatic bar should be applied.

Hattie23 · 25/03/2012 23:47

Damn. Ermmm soup and bread just don't get talked about like the other two do!

BelaLug0si · 25/03/2012 23:51

How about "can you use the search facility" or "can you see there's already a thread about the same subject, perhaps read that first in case it covers the same thing"

GrimmaTheNome · 25/03/2012 23:56

YABU. We need a few doofuses for contrast.

The answer is 3 because you can't weave your own Fruit shoot or Gregg's sausage roll.

Honeydragon · 26/03/2012 00:04

The answer is b)
A) and C) belong in the bin

BoffinMum · 26/03/2012 00:11

A) is the odd one out. The other two make you fart funny, whereas the first one makes you wee funny.

Hattie23 · 26/03/2012 00:18

Sadly I can't weave anything
Sad

But I do like Wine and Brew

NettoSuperstar · 26/03/2012 00:21

Noooo, I don't think I'd be allowed in.
I own more than one pair of fake uggs and my spelling is shit.
Also, I let DD eat Greggs and pot noodles

MuslinSuit · 26/03/2012 00:26

I definitely wouldn't get in. I like Uggs, Juicy Couture and bottle feeding Grin

Sparklingbrook · 26/03/2012 06:33

Perhaps a little tutorial at the end on how to do links and emoticons?

YABU

MN is a forum for Advice/chat for ALL mums. For all you know some parents might have a learning difficulty or even just had a very sheltered life so not "know" everything.

If you don't like a thread don't post on it!

I dont think an entrance exam would work as mumsnet is a complicated network of swearing injokes and other such things i would have Failed , However an end of term exam would work better as i seem to be getting the hang of it Grin

RoxyRobin · 26/03/2012 12:06

How do you fart funny? Is it to the tune of 'the Laughing Policeman'?

Sparklingbrook · 26/03/2012 13:12

I did say this was lighthearted Cats. Smile

Sparklingbrook Please don't take offence at my post. I may have lost my sense of humour temporarily cause various members of my family have been ill over the past 2 weeks and I'm also not getting enough sleep. My DD is still not well and I am also unwell so I'm not my usual self.

Didn't mean to cause offence. Smile

Sparklingbrook · 27/03/2012 10:09

None taken Cats. Smile have you got the horrible virus that's going round?

OP posts:
CatsSleepAnywhere · 27/03/2012 10:30

I think it's a cold (in my case) and possibly Flu for DD (3yr old) Sad. DS was sick at the weekend but is better now and I injured my back last Wednesday trying to lift DD. My back is getting better but still a bit achey sometimes and I can't lift anything heavy.
We are just having a shit time at the mo.

Don't want to put a downer on your thread.

Sparklingbrook · 27/03/2012 10:34

Don't be silly, Smile I think it had all been discussed. Grin

Hope you and DD feel better soon. We had the virus a while back, took about a month til everyone in the family was better.

At least the sun is shining.
