I have not found one single cough medicine that tastes even vaguely palatable.

DS had medicine for stomach treatment after diarrhoea tastes of banana.... he LOVED it! used to cry for more medicine!

I want to know (and apologies for hijack, cos this could i hope take off) WHY OH WHY is it only the flaming DC that get shampoo that doesn't burn their eyeballs... why can't WE have No More Tears shampoo.

Don't get me started on face creams and why they make me want to gauge my own eyeballs out if I get that stuff in my eyes...

You could use No More Tears if you like. I once used it on my dog, he was so unimpressed with me!

I like Boots Honey and Lemon. Tastes yummy but doesn't really do much

I tried a lot of it when I had the virus from hell. Every one was disgusting. As are all cough pastilles. The Olbas Ones are evil. Bleurgh.

Whoever invented Soothers and Lockets was having a laugh-revolting.

Benylin is lovely! And it makes you feel quite nicely relaxed.

When I was little my mum used to buy a cough mixture for us called Liquafruita. I used to swig it from the bottle

Only the proper drowsy making chesty cough one though. The non-drowsy is shite.

When the pharmacist says say, do you want 'non drowsy' I say no, regular please, I'm sure they know why. . I've got a real hankering now, have been pregnant or breast feeding for four years and haven't had a drop .

I can very rarely take it due to the job I have.
