I have not found one single cough medicine that tastes even vaguely palatable.

I can't have the drowsy stuff 'cause apparently it interacts with another one of my medication.

Do you think it would be impolite to visit Boots and ask for a swig from various brands in order to find one that doesn't made me gag?

Like a 'cough mixture tasting' crash? Maybe have some canapes to go with the samples?

I am currently VERY poorly sick. Properly not felt so fluey for years. Headache, shivery, then hot, swollen glands, blocked sinuses, revolting but satisfying expectorant cough, upset tummy, no appetite. WAAAAAAAAAH.

But Night Nurse and Corvonia Balsam are making it slightly better.

And I've got an interview tomorrow.

Woe upon woe is me.

Oh yes, sounds wonderful! Cough mixture testing and throat lozenges. A winter virus drug fest.

With a goody bag at the end crash.

And, AND, I'm single so no-one to do my bidding look after me.

I drank the rest of a bottle of strawberry cough mixture that my parents had left in our bathroom when I was a child. It was lush.
