To think it is disgusting to not wash your hands after having a poo?

I have recently discovered my dh does not wash his hands after a poo. I think this is very unreasonable. I have seen divided threads on whether it is disgusting to not wash your hands after a wee, and dh seems to think there would be division on this. I think not.

You get more germs from taps anyway, so even if he washed his hands, his shitty hands turned on the tap, he washed them, then his clean hands picked up shit when he turned the tap off.

I can wipe my arse without touching and poo or skin....can't you?? I DO wash my hands after I have been always. But tbh probably pick up far more germs from the tap than I would from just touching loo roll!!
As long as everyone washes hands on a regular basis and ALWAYS before preparing food I don't really see what the prob is.

The norovirus (winter vomiting virus) is started by faeces particles from filthy people not washing their hands after they've shit. I had this and it was horrific, when I found out it was caused by disgusting people I was FURIOUS.
Also, when you flush a toilet (even if you have only peed) faeces particles fly 20 feet into the air. Obviously no one has a bog with 20 feet high ceiling, that's just the force they fly up to, so put the lid down before you flush and maybe not keep toothbrushes in the bog!

He doesn't wash his hands on a regular basis though, does he, if he's not doing it after going to the loo? And no, he doesn't wash before he prepares food. We've probably survived because he doesn't do much cooking.

oh god, YANBU....i used to work with a colleague who never washed her hands and i used to invent new and interesting ways on never touching anything she had.....its pretty disgusting. just wash your fucking hands for fucks sake....do people think a bit of soap and water will melt them?

I went to see a friend who's baby had diarrohea the other week. She must have changed it's nappy 10 times in the time I was there (fortunately the first one after she had made me a drink) but not once did she leave the room to wash her hands. She just stacked the nappies in the corner.

Well, I've shown him the thread and I think he can see I'm right that most people have a problem with this. Sadly I think it's too late for him to change his ways. I fear this may just be another way for him to get out of ever cooking.
