I know IABU. It's disgusting. But in my defence, both DS and I have a tummy bug and these are the only things I feel like eating. I promise to have an orange and some carrots later, honest.

What's on the menu for your lunch? I bet you can't beat me for sheer lack of nutrition!

YAonlyBU if you don't share with me - yummy yummy

TheCountessOlenska · 12/03/2012 12:00

I'm having Reeses Peanut Butter Cups!

CailinDana · 12/03/2012 12:00

I have to say I draw the line at pot noodle knackeredwoman It's the dessicated "vegetables" that push it over the line for me.

Hmm queen, I reckon we might on a par there nutrition wise. At least peanuts have some sort of decent protein in them!

I'm on the sofa with a tummy bug too, Cailin.

Fried egg on toast and 2 Chomps for me. And a bit of cheese I ate on the way to get the eggs.

All the wrong stuff I know. :(

And I'm usually sooo good!

Mandy2003 · 12/03/2012 12:07

I found some genuine Ramen Cups in Morrisons yesterday. I am going to have one for lunch - food of the geeks! But I don't eat Hot Pockets or Pop Tarts.

Bellstar · 12/03/2012 12:08

I am having spring vegtable soup with rice-sans the rice as am trying to cut down on carbs.

Is a recipe from Fay Ripleys new book and it is very nommy.

CailinDana · 12/03/2012 12:10

I will never forgive you for mentioning poptarts Mandy. I had a fight with myself in Tesco (sorry to anyone who saw me - I was the crazy lady muttering to herself in the cereal aisle) as I DESPERATELY wanted poptarts but eventually convinced myself not to get them. I would sell my right arm for one now :(

I actually feel quite a bit better after my lunch of preservatives, chemicals, transfats and salt :) Obviously exactly what my body needed!

Sorry to hear you're suffering too Folkgirl, hope you're better soon.

I'm currently eating Chocolate Angel Delight. Just because it was there and I wanted chocolate!

It's more a snack than lunch though.

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 12/03/2012 12:18

Eggy bread and lucozade!

Yanbu at all. We all have days like that!

But I'm pg with ms and it's the only thing I can stomach ATM!

anotherstressfulmorning · 12/03/2012 12:19

I have eaten half an Easter egg, most of a family bag size of crisps and some Roses ( the chocolates) however I also plan to have fruit for lunch and I am having a chicken stir fry for dinner tonight so hopefully that will balance it up :o

WorraLiberty · 12/03/2012 12:20

Fry up today!

Egg, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, bread n' butter and a strong cup of tea.

Laambkins · 12/03/2012 12:21

Cheese savoury sandwiches, lentil crisps and tea.

DD (8mo) had a deconstructed cheese savoury sandwich (cheese and carrot sticks and bread) which is all over the floor now. Grin

LoonyRationalist · 12/03/2012 12:23

Sounds delicious, room for another.

DD2 & I are having eggs fried in a piece of bread (but with fruit salad after to assuage the guilt a little)

CailinDana · 12/03/2012 12:26

Poor old DS is asleep so I'm taking the opportunity to balm out for a while and build up my energy. He's eaten barely anything - I gave him some milk earlier and he puked it all up :( Poor puppy I hate seeing him ill. Hopefully he'll perk up later.

Eggy bread is very nutritious and definitely does not count on the shit lunch front. Chocolate Angel Delight on the other hand...

Was DELICIOUS!!

I'm still bf so I'm telling myself that the 1/2 pint milk was good for me Grin

MissMogwi · 12/03/2012 12:52

I've had two crumpets with butter and jam, but two crumpets are never enough..

I'd kill for a Malteaster bunny right now.

BelleEnd · 12/03/2012 12:57

Bloody hell, I haven't had a Chomp for years. The banana ones were amazing...

TroublesomeEx · 12/03/2012 13:09

I don't even like them all that much, but they're the only chocolate in the children's tins....

Oh the shame Blush

carabos · 12/03/2012 14:40

I've had cottage cheese with a tin of tuna (spring water), some olives and gherkins, cup of herbal tea.

What I really want is a sandwich and a chocolate biscuit Sad but I'm trying to lose half a stone.

BelleEnd · 12/03/2012 15:14

Well Carabos, I didn't want to say anything, but I've had a salad with ham and just had a carrot as a snack ...

GavisconJunkie · 12/03/2012 15:22

Ended up at soft play with dd on my friend's whim. Ate lasagne & chips (no salad). I ranted at my dad, who is trying to lose weight, just the other week about how plebby it is to have chips with lasagne as it's two types of carb & all sorts of grease.

It was grease-a-licious, just a bit small! I ate every scrap & the tuna sandwich dd left. Sadly she ate the other 3 & her chips & salad sodding growth spurt in my defence I'm 38 weeks pregnant.
