To get annoyed with Amazon reviewers

Who leave bad reviews due to their own stupidity.

I give you the ultimate reviews

NoOnesGoingToEatYourEyes · 09/03/2012 16:06

I loved the Candace Sams reviews that went a viral when she appeared and laid into a reviewer who was critical of her book. She outed herself as an author to avoid for more than one very good reason and has become infamous (not least that she reported people to the FBI for the content of their reviews).

She's deleted her comments from Amazon now but I think you can still find them through links on this newspaper article about the row.

Lifeisquiteabsurd · 09/03/2012 16:06

The reviews to A Whole New World from those great contributors to musical excellence, Katie Price and Peter Andre, are legendary. Not a note of sarcasm to be found.

My personal favourites are It had to happen and Father Bob's boombox.

redrubyshoes · 09/03/2012 16:10

There is a Dutch reviewer that I actually hate. I mean hate. He is literally everywhere on Amazon and does nothing but corrects reviewer's spelling and punctuation and then hounds them if they reply to him - he keeps up his attacks for years.

I bet he is wanking over a dictionary as I type this.

Tosser.

cheekybarsteward · 09/03/2012 16:38

I'm sorry I can't link from here but the reviews for David Hasselhof 'looking for the best of' on the US Amazon website are brilliant.

I also like the ones for Sussex Supplies tin foil

CoteDAzur · 09/03/2012 16:40

Fantastic thread Grin

BellaBearisWideAwake · 09/03/2012 16:45

With kiddicare it's probably because they hound ask you to review as soon as you've received your item and may not have used it. I think I wrote a useless review of a bathseat because it got them off my back.

Live these links!

Roseformeplease · 09/03/2012 16:50

These have actually made me cry with laughter after a very, very shitty and sad day. Thank you do much.

OneHandFlapping · 09/03/2012 16:52

There is obviously a whole new world of humour out there that I've never explored...

Am loving Penetrating Wagner's Ring. Favourite is the succinct:

"Although more than a plucky stab at Wagner's Ring, for my money DiGaetani's 'Probing Fanny By Gaslight' remains his finest work to date."

But why, Mr DiGaetani, why? I mean, surely his publishers could have warned him?

BoffinMum · 09/03/2012 17:13

These are sooo funny I have slightly weed myself laughing.

It is all your fault. Grin

AWimbaWay · 09/03/2012 17:38

I love these but have to stop clicking on the links as Amazon will start sending me recommendations based on the pages I've browsed ...

megapixels · 09/03/2012 19:13

This one made me nearly wet myself. It's a review for Nutella.
